So Sea Princess and Sapphire Princess.

Pity about the Sea Princess, but I really liked the sister ship of Sapphire, the Diamond Princess.

But good for those in Brisbane with it looking like Sun Princess will go there.

I wonder if Melbourne has any ships to be based there.

There will be the usual P&O Ship, and maybe another Carnival ship. Queen Elizabeth may return then as well.

Great news for Adelaide. With the Golden Princess going to P&O Australia, I guess that means no Princess ship will be based in Melbourne.....bummer!

The Sapphire will be based in Melbourne doing turnarounds from there, going by the ports schedules for both Melbourne and Adelaide, it looks like it does a few of the Melbourne/Adelaide/Kangaroo Island/Port Lincoln runs where people can board in Adelaide as well, the Golden did this too. So the adverising that it is based in Adelaide is a little decieving I think, you can work it out by looking at these

Seems more like a shared season for them both.

Our first cruise on the Sapphire was in 2004.....just hope she is still in good condition and not starting to show her age like some other ships do!

Maybe the Sapphire might be heading our way permanently???.........

Well that is a huge negative unless they sharing Sapphire between the two ports.

I wish the Majestic cruise had a few more stops between Freo and Singapore.

We did a repo from Melbourne to Singapore and there was 7 day long haul that turn into 10 days. Lots were scratching to get off.

I think that is what we'll see. I'm sure Sapphire will be going back and forth between Adelaide and Melbourne, with occasional forays to Tassie and NZ from either city.

Any cruise from Adelaide, unless it's a three dayer, will have to either go to Melbourne or sail right past, it and I don't think that they will sail past it.
