How long can I stay on ship on departure day?

They want you off ASAP.   Out with the old in with the new.   If younhave internet package it ends at 7.   The drink pack around 9 when all computers are shutdown and changes over.  Basically you don’t want to be on board after 9.  Everything is shutdown. At most you would just be sitting there and feel like a out cast.

We been thru it and were told we could stay on board until 10 as we had another cruise booked on X but on another ship.  The ship was at the same port.   Celebrity didn’t do anything to help us in the transfer.   We had to transport our luggage to the other pier and hang our until boarding started.  We were basically kicked off shortly after 9

happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Keep in mind, depending on the size of the ship, there might be 3,000 new passengers that can't get on the ship until all the old passengers get off. Remember how you felt the week before, waiting to get on the ship to start your vacation.

And B2B cruisers can't start their TAD process until all non consecutive cruisers have cleared the ship.

Cant remember if you can get [pay] extra time when arriving in US?

Thanks

If you have a long time before flights home there are some excursion and airport drop off options. We have done this and it worked well. Alternatively you could look at booking a ‘day room’ at a hotel or hiring a car for a day. We have done this when our flights were after 5pm.

If our flights are about 2ish and we are not flying business (with lounge access) we look at airport lounges with paid access. At least we can enjoy a comfortable seat then an pretend we still have a drinks package....
