You could have had my pen, too, Laura, but I only just gave it to my sister-in-law earlier this week!!!  Perhaps if I get one on Seaview in August I can give you that one.

We got the drawstring bags on Seaview in April, though we are only Gold.

We are just on our way back to Ship if you are around and want to say hello?

Sorry; it was odd boarding so late in the day so it took us a while to get settled in!  Didn’t even know about muster as there was no notification... we just saw people carrying their jackets !!!

No many English speakers on board it seems.

Thanks for your posts and answering questions.

Yeah ... both Gold and Black get a 'gift'.  Sorry to hear that it'll be a tote bag on Seaview (thanks for letting me know);  I have umpteen of them, despite giving several away over the years.

I think we were very lucky to get the notebook with the moving ship pen at the time.  I haven't seen any posts from anyone else who did.  Nor have I seen anyone report that they got the 'Renaissance' book when on a Lirica-class cruise (it's quite substantial with lots of wonderful photos of the process).  I also got a much nicer pen with that, too.

Escorted from ship at approximately 9.00 for a 1pm flight! It’s a boring airport for a long wait.

what a fabulous week though.

Now for a night in London before train home. And then Matt back down to London for work on Tuesday!

Hi Nikki glad you have had such a great week --it is the little things that are nice in YC.

Have a safe journey home.

That's a real bummer, Nikki!   Such an easy thing to overlook the minibar when checking around the cabin (though I usually raid it on the last morning for water & snacks for the journey home).

One of the items is some fish roe called Bottaga...

Nikki, what is the earliest disembarkation time on Divina in Genoa? We are leaving a hire car at Genoa port when we go in August as we are going to a wedding in Tuscany on the Saturday evening after disembarking and it is a 3 hour drive from Genoa. We then join the Seaview on the Monday (26th) for another 7 days on her (should see Bea when she joins a few days later!).

That is the part the assistant butlers enjoy best of all.....they eat the stuff we forget to take. We left the chocolate ships on our last cruise but remembered them when on Meraviglia, probably because we were travelling directly to visit our grandson!

So pleased for you, that everything worked through and you got full YC status!

Yes Bea we are in YC on both Divina and Seaview. Debating whether to follow you and upgrade to Premium + on the drinks front. Will have to venture into steerage a few times on Seaview as my Brother-in-Law and family are in Bella cabins the same week. Will look at booking Butchers Cut to eat with them one night as it is our 20th wedding anniversary on the 30th. My 2 daughters will head down to the water slides and zip line anyway I guess.

We got off at about 8.45 should have been slightly earlier.

Our anniversary is on Sept 1st so we'll definitely be in Butcher's Cut for that (hope we don't miss a good menu in YC on the night!).

If you see me about the ship, please come say hello - I'll be wearing a brooch fashioned in the shape of the letter B (if I remember to bring it, lol)

We usually spend most of our time down in 'steerage' in the evenings for the entertainment when on Fantasia-class ships.  I think having to trek thru' deck 7 (usually) lends itself to staying outside of YC.  However, we found on Meraviglia that we stayed most of the time in YC.  We didn't care for the layout of that ship and never even went to see any of the shows.  I'm hoping to change my opinion in October.

I've just seen your most recent post as I was typing ...  Nikki will be able to check the daily planner to see the earliest time (if she still has it) but I'll just say that, being in YC, at least you'll get priority disembarkation.  Just let the concierge know in advance that you want to get off as early as possible.

(Apologies, Nikki, for hijacking your thread).

She was meant to dock at 8a this morning but it was closer to 8:30a

I have answered this based on this morning.

BTW we chatted to 2 couples on way back all first MSc and also cruise, the said they went into MDR first night only as both food  and service very bad! They were not traveling together.

I hope Little Britain on this week comments on this!

Will do; but as I’m travelling with elderly mother who eats like a flea I’m not sure we will make it to MDR but I’ll definitely try!!! She doesn’t like all the palaver about people fussing around her; whereas I loathe buffets and plastic plates!!
