lifes-a-beach Posted June 1, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2019 As long as you also wear a ball cap on backward and a wife beater. Otherwise you’ll be overdressed. 6

MJSailors Posted June 1, 2019 #8 Share Posted June 1, 2019 By Bermuda shorts,do you mean longer, casual shorts that go to the knee,or the more formal outfit men wear in Bermuda for business? That outfit includes long shorts ( usually a wool blend fabric) pleather belt, dress shirt, tie and navy blazer, knee high socks and polished dress shoes. You may wear shorts in the MDR for all meals. There will be suggest dress code, but more and more people feel that if they are on vacation, they don't need to get dressed up. You will not feel out of place with your Bermudas!
Artemus Posted June 1, 2019 #14 Share Posted June 1, 2019 Are you also wearing the black knee socks and black shoes❓If so, do yourself a favor and not embarrass your family. 1

There is no reason to get all dressed up when you are on vacation.
BekkaW Posted June 1, 2019 #20 Share Posted June 1, 2019 The technical answer is that shorts are welcome for breakfast and lunch in the MDR, but not for dinner. The realistic answer is that this is very rarely enforced

The realistic answer is that this is very rarely enforced When it is it's got to be very embarrassing with everyone staring at you. I have seen someone turned away and the snarky comments were definitely heard by the passenger. I'm still curious if they showed back up or went to the windjammer.
