Seaside/Miami questions

Looking forward to our cruise next Saturday and have questions.

- What is the current Black Card gift?

- Does the Global Entry card work in Miami?  It sure did in Fort Lauderdale.

- Is champagne included for Yacht Club in the Top Sail and in the champagne bar?

Thank you!

I believe the black card gift is the chocolate ship.  Seems to me we also got a pen?  Actually, all sorts of treats appeared.  Chocolate covered strawberries, macarons, other stuff I've forgotten.  Not sure how much was connected with the YC1 stateroom and how much with the black card.

Don't drink or have Global Entry, so can't answer those questions.  We did have several bottles of Prosecco in our cabin.

On Seaside, we've received both pen and note paper stack as our Black Card gift. Neither are "ooh la la" but the note papper stack has been surprisingly handy at home. Lol.

We got champagne in TSL last time we were aboard, in Feb. Not sure of the brand but it was decent.

Didn't see Global Entry at Miami port but then again, didn't look for it (not eligible so it doesn't register for us). It was extremely fast when we went through in Feb and from recent reports is even faster now that they're using Facial Recognition for immigration there.  No worries - it's miles better than Port Everglades, even without GE.

Enjoy..

Our black card gift was a nice blue MSC cap. Much appreciated and desirable than the stationery.

Sounds much nicer than the pens we received on the Divina this past Dec.  Not complaining though, any gift is a gift.  We will be on the Seaside this Nov./Dec. for 4 cruises, 8 hats might be a little much LOL.  Last year on the Divina we brought home 6 pens, 6 chocolate ships, 6 pairs of slippers LOL.  Needless to say, the grandkids got a lot of chocolate in their stockings! This year will be 8 of everything.

YC last December black card got us each a chocolate ship, pen, notepads and a free specialty restaurant.  The YC restaurant was better.

YC offers free drinks EVERYWHERE.

With Black Card status you will always get the chocolate ship and the free specialty dining restaurant but OP was talking about the "gift" which would be the pen you received.  That changes.  Also, it does not matter if one is in the YC or not, the VC benefits are the same whether in the YC or in Bella.

As previous post but we liked our free lunch at BC quite a bit.
