Celebrity Reflection Embarkation Day Question

Does anyone know if Blu is open on embarkation day.  We will be in Aquaclass during our 11 night Caribbean cruise to the Panama Canal this October out of Ft. Lauderdale.  We would like to avoid the buffet if at all possible when we board.  Any other restaurants open? Looking forward to checking out the specialty restaurants - we pre-booked a 4 night specialty restaurant package for $149 p/p.  First time taking Celebrity usually do Royal Caribbean or Carnival so we are looking forward to a more upscale experience.  Thank you in advance for your replies.

Blu wont be open during embarkation unfortunately.  The only other is the dining room but that is for Concierge guests only   I never understood why Aqua and the Suites are not allowed a special area for embarkation but its understandable because of the chaos that is going getting provisions on/new crew etc in the background.

Options for lunch if not in a Suite or Concierge are the buffet, the Mast Grill (burgers & hot dogs) and the Spa Cafe.  Sushi on 5 should be open but there is a charge.  We usually arrive at the port about 12:30 and by the time we checkin and board it is about the time the cabins are available.

We drop off our carryons and head to the buffet, which by then is pretty quiet  since everyone who was waiting there has left for their cabins.

We actually do the opposite of Jelayne. We try to board by 11 am, grab our pink sparkly drink and set up a dining reservation - AQ gets good first night discounts, although you likely will not need the discount with a dining package.

Then we go upstairs to the buffet and head all the way out to the outside back deck to snag a shady breezy table and order our kick off the vacation drink. Then we take turns getting a light lunch.

We do generally not do a carryon, or if we flew in the night before, we just pack the dirty clothes in it and tag the bag for the porters

Is the for-fee Porch ever open for lunch on Embarkation day?
