Rare Noxequifans Posted June 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2019 (edited) If your hotel is near the Port it is a very short taxi ride away. Also shuttles are usually available for hotels right close to the airport .... not near the port Edited June 21, 2019 by Noxequifans
skrufy Posted June 21, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2019 What’s your budget? Hotels in the downtown and Brickell areas will run north of $225.00 If you scan the websites you can sometimes catch a good buy. The hotels out by MIA are cheaper but it’s not the best area to stay. I would only stay in the Doral area, west of MIA. You will not find any shuttles for downtown. The MIA area hotels are the ones you will find the transportation you are looking for. Some of these hotels charge a fee to shuttle to the port. Cost from downtown to port runs around $10.00-$12.00 and a shuttle from MIA to downtown runs around $30.00. JohninDC Posted June 22, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2019 (edited) Near the port check out the Intercontinental, Doubletree and next door Marriott, Holiday Inn,as well as hotels in the Mary Brickell area (Hampton Inn is the most often suggested). As mentioned above, none includes airport shuttles, but a cab will only cost $25-30 or you can Uber for $20 or less. With a noon arrival, go find a hotel in Downtown Miami or Brickell. You'll be close walking distance to plenty of places to eat and then a very short and cheap Uber/Lyft or Taxi ride to the port. Hampton Inn Brickell is an extremely popular choice with a pool and breakfast included.

It's located across the street from the Bayside Marketplace. They have a pre-cruise package that includes the breakfast buffet plus a shuttle to the cruise port. YankeesFan4Life Posted July 19, 2019 #16 Share Posted July 19, 2019 I booked Comfort Suites Miami Airport North. $120/night with airport shuttle and cruise ship shuttle. Not too sure about breakfast though...
JohninDC Posted July 19, 2019 #17 Share Posted July 19, 2019 For what dates? This and other hotels out near the MIA airport are fine if you are arriving late and just want dinner and a room. If you are arriving earlier in the day and want to see and experience some of Miami then choose a downtown hotel.
