Bellair, what is the white "blob" with the baked beans? LOL it is a breakfast favourite here...it is scrambled egg. A lot of American friends cannot believe we have baked beans on toast! Many of us could not get our rooms cooler, and many public rooms were too warm. They cannot fix the system and have been trying since September 2018. The plans for selling the ship mean that it has 2 more years at the most. We were moved a few days ago and our second room can't get cooler than 70°f. I am still working on that issue. 1/2 of the Lido is warm. All that being said, we're having a ball and love the itinerary and would book a good itinerary on the ship. We're finally in Kobe this morning.

Krazy Kruizers Posted August 17, 2019 #211 Share Posted August 17, 2019 Glad you all have arrived safely in Kobe. Neither of us could sleep in a warm room. We like it dark and super cool -- 60 or lower if possible. Great pictures.
Rare Btimmer Posted August 18, 2019 Author #212 Share Posted August 18, 2019 We had a very nice warm day in Kochi today. It was really nice to not have to do anything. We strolled the Sunday market and the Shopping Street. It was more crowded with the Diamond Princess in port with us.

Rare Btimmer Posted August 20, 2019 Author #216 Share Posted August 20, 2019 Just leaving Kanazawa, Japan headed back to Russia. It's 10:40pm and we have a dance team send off. It was a great repeat day and we were the 23rd & 24th to get back on the ship tonight. Lots more detail will be in my blog, but it'll be a couple days for the posting.

Rare Btimmer Posted August 22, 2019 Author #222 Share Posted August 22, 2019 Today's private excursion in Vladivostok was to a safari park to see lots of animals. Here are a few pictures. And yes the Chinese Sun Bear was that close. We paid a return visit to U-56 and took the 100 ruble tour. Off to Korsakov in about an hour.
