quiet stateroom on harmony of sea

Recommended Posts

Avoid anything with common areas over the cabin.  Cabins on decks with other cabins above and below are usually the quietest. Wouldn’t book a Boardwalk or Cental Park cabin either - ocean view would be quieter.  Further away from elevators - not that you can hear elevators, but less foot traffic walking past your cabin.

If you book deck three there are no balconies. And why do you assume deck three should be louder than other decks?

Doesn’t deck three have the theater?  Deck 4 has ice ring . It should be a cheap inside cabin. But I am worry it would be hard to sleep at night. Has anyone ever  had an inside cabin on deck 3?

I personally would not choose deck 3 because above you is the dining room, casino, jazz on 4, the attic, etc.

We had deck 6 balcony on the harmony loved it because we were able to walk down to deck 5 and 4 and not need to use the elevator but stay away from close to the fitness center because sometimes you hear weights and such being dropped but love deck 6 and 7.

Avoid deck 14and deck 8.

Well, that’s not good news!

we’re booked on Deck 8, and I talked our daughter into deck 8 on a different date.

What are the drawbacks to 8?
