Photos: 3 Queens Departing Southampton, UK

When we left to do our Baulic cruise on the Queen Elizabeth we had Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria docked with us

Here are a few photos I took from the Queen Elizabeth of us sail away with Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria as we left Southampton

It was a good sail away with LOTS of horn blowing I think my ears are still recovering from it! haha

You may notice in the photos below that Queen Mary 2 did drop back quite a bit, I am not too sure if she did not hit some strong winds (which we did as well), on one of the bends out of Southampton, which slower her down.

Also you may notice in the photos we Queen Elizabeth over took the Queen Victoria, while the Victoria waited for the Queen Mary 2, so I am not too sure if our ship (Elizabeth) was in a rush to leave or QM2 had a problem.

Also the Queen Victoria gave Oriana a good old goodbye toot! 😊

I love Southampton, so much maritime history and shall be there again next April on ye olde Arcadia.
