Artemus Posted September 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Does anyone else think the bacon is greasy❓I’ve experienced what I consider very greasy bacon on my last three cruises and I’m talking about the dining and the WJ. I’m to the point that don’t order it anymore in the dining room.

voyager70 Posted September 30, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Not a huge bacon fan but I've never found it to be overly greasy. Nothing different from what I get at home.
WinksCruises Posted September 30, 2019 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2019 In my experience, it's been inconsistent. Certain mornings it's crispy, sometimes to a fault. Other mornings it's slimy and slippery, that's when we look to the mirror buffet section for an alternate tray to pick from.
nalatrixie74 Posted September 30, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Often limp, so I suppose that could seem greasy

SimplyMarvie Posted September 30, 2019 #11 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Having lived the last three years in the middle east, I'm just thrilled that there even IS bacon. As long as it's made of pork and unlikely to give me food poisoning, load me up! 🙂 4
suesnake2002 Posted September 30, 2019 #12 Share Posted September 30, 2019 I like to make BLT's in the wind jammer. All the fixings are there. I usually make them on the english muffins. Yummy
Bloodgem Posted September 30, 2019 #13 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Which bacon are we talking about? I've seen very crispy but not greasy american bacon. I've also seen greasy english bacon.
CRUISEFAN0001 Posted September 30, 2019 #14 Share Posted September 30, 2019 We have yet to ever witness ungreasy bacon - anywhere on the planet. It simply doesn't exist based on the composition of bacon itself.
GEORGIEGIRL Posted September 30, 2019 #15 Share Posted September 30, 2019 The Bacon on RCCL ships is greasy at times due to the fact that it is deep fried in a fryer, not grilled or cooked on a flat-top like one might do at home.

MotownVoice Posted September 30, 2019 #19 Share Posted September 30, 2019 You do know that a paper napkin can absorb the grease from an entire serving of bacon in about 30 seconds, right? #firstworldproblems
