tomcruiser1234 Posted October 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2019 Hey, Where is the checkin lounge in terminal 25. Didn’t use on last cruise but heard it was quite nice. Thanks
grandgeezer Posted October 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2019 The suite lounge, and check in was one of the big highlights of the whole cruise. When you walk into the terminal the person checking your online check in form will take you to an separate elevator just for suite guest. You will be escorted to a nice table and chairs and be checked in there by a person with a tablet, no waiting in line, no standing around. The lounge is big and bright and new. There was snacks and drinks available. If you are there before boarding has started just sit back and relax as you will be one of the first people boarding, along with the B2Bs. At least this is the way it was when we boarded the Equinox the end of August.
39august Posted October 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2019 Yes, very nice. You are diverted to the left before going up the escalator, then shown the separate elevator to take you up to the suite embarkation lounge.
Rare chemmo Posted October 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2019 (edited) From luggage drop at special delivery (RS) we were taken through an empty security up to the suite lounge and by the time my son had got me a glass of water we were being escorted on board...From our very brief visit it was light, airy and very pleasant...Curb to Retreat about 10mins... My experiences at Port Everglades Terminal 25 suggest that, while the suite boarding lounge is open to all suite guests, only those who occupy a "top" suite or who are Captain's Club Zenith members--regardless of stateroom category--are escorted aboard... Yes, I think this is the case although we saw a group of about 6/8 suite passengers being escorted as our passports were being checked so it could be... RS/PH personally escorted, other suite guests escorted in groups if there is any queuing to board. As there was a Coast Guard inspection the morning that we boarded perhaps several suite guests had spent some time in the lounge. We had been advised, a few days earlier by telephone not to arrive before 11am.
SeaSharp Posted October 27, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2019 Super nice, super deluxe!! Disembarkation even nicer. Celebrity has it all figured out. The others could take a lesson!!

On our last Celebrity cruise, we were sailing with my brother and his wife, but he forgot to pay his final bill. It was a bit slower for him, but only delayed him about 10 minutes. My only complaint was that it was a long hike to the parking garage.

My only complaint was that it was a long hike to the parking garage. A communication breakdown resulted in our issues I won’t go into full details but we discussed our leaving strategy (late of the ship, escorted through) with one of the Retreat concierges who didn’t let the other (who was actually in the lounge on disembarkation morning) know and we ended up with no escort off....If we didn’t have mobility issues it wouldn’t have been an issue but I can’t stand/walk for long. The face recognition system made it manageable but just one of those ‘dropped balls’ re service. We don’t experience many but it is a bit annoying when you have explained what you need, been reassured it will be available... Do you recall the location of "special delivery" ? and how is it that personnel in this area know if you're in a special delivery suite? Thank you! CHEZMARYLOU Posted October 29, 2019 #16 Share Posted October 29, 2019 The location for special delivery is just outside the entrance doors to the terminal. There will be a staff person with a clip board with the list of guests eligible and a porter to take your luggage. When you are contacted by shoreside concierge you will receive an email with a placard to place in the windshield of the car/taxi you are in. Thank you! We booked an Uber to the port, he knew exactly where to drop us when we showed him our ‘priority’ placard, saying ‘Yes, VIP drop off, I know it’. However if he hadn’t the sign was very clear. After looking at vtcruising’s pictures of the lounge I wish I had enjoyed a better look!
CHEZMARYLOU Posted October 29, 2019 #18 Share Posted October 29, 2019 We were on board so fast last November I don't remember anything but the check in stand. Maybe I'll see more of the lounge next month but unless there is a delay boarding I expect to be on board very quickly again.

We were not in a top suite but were escorted on board. But not a big deal either way honestly. I think I can find the ship without them. It is that big blue and white thing at the top of the walkway. 1
vtcruising Posted October 29, 2019 #20 Share Posted October 29, 2019 I can’t remember if we were escorted - I think we were some of the first to board so just followed the crowd in, with someone leading us. Once we made it to the blue and white thing we went our own way. It’s different now that we can go to our staterooms to drop stuff and don’t get escorted to Michaels by concierge. We liked the T25 suite experience.
CHEZMARYLOU Posted October 29, 2019 #21 Share Posted October 29, 2019 (edited) When we boarded the porter took our luggage but not that of guests in lower suites. We were all escorted on board. Edited October 29, 2019 by CHEZMARYLOU
