Eurodam will be at pier 26 (port to) from 0515-1700.  She is going on a 7-day Western Caribbean Holiday cruise.

Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 19 (starboard to) until 1700.  She arrived on the 20th at about 8 pm and hopefully she is all fixed.  She is headed out on a 7-day Tropical Caribbean Holiday.

It was a nice sail-in for NA tonight. WP gave us some good close-ups. The wind strength meant she needed 2 tugs to maneuver and they all might need it again tomorrow.

 

I plan on being here to count the tugs - tomorrow afternoon.

What an incredibly busy day! And three blue hulled beauties, one of which we are on in just 2 WEEKS!! Woo hoo!! 

I wonder how many people are moving through Port Everglades this weekend. I bet the number is staggering.

I don't know if I'll be back from the beauty parlor and grocery before sailaway today so I'll just go ahead and say Merry Christmas cruising to all!!

As of 10:15 Eastern time The Nieuw Statendam has not docked in Key West.  I know from another report that the Koningsdam had to cancel Half Moon Kay because of swells. It is nice to see the Signature sisters and the Rotterdam in Port Everglades. I will miss the sail aways as I have Christmas Confessions at that time.

There are NO tugs at Key West - so ships are on their own for maneuvering. Most skip it if conditions are iffy.
