Rare crewsweeper Posted December 22, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 22, 2019 Cozumel is primarily a beach port. Contact Nacho Cocum for their all inclusive. Limited number of guests. Easy taxi ride.
JohninDC Posted December 22, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 22, 2019 Nachi Cocom is the correct name. If you do not want an all-inclusive beach club check out Paradise Beach. Taxi to either place for 4passengers will cost about $15-17 each way: that fare is for the cab, not per person.

ABQrobin Posted December 23, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 23, 2019 If they don't want a beach excursion, I can recommend the Mayan Ball Game excursion. It was about 4 hours and takes you to a remote area where they have demos of how Mayans made food, chocolate, etc, a Mayan priestess did a formal blessing ceremony for us, and then a full Mayan ball game with music, etc. After that you have a buffet lunch with Mexican dancers performing. Not long walking involved and shade, but it is all outdoors. We enjoyed it. 1
c-leg5 Posted December 23, 2019 #6 Share Posted December 23, 2019 Also check out Cozumel Bar Hop for a fun, well organized tour round the island. Note this is not a “party “ bus per se and usually has many “older” participants but is generally a pleasant, social excursion. Of course all bets are off for Spring Break! https://cozumelbarhop.com

Yes, we did the BarHop last year.... here's my video: FYI - this stairway up to Coconuts is the ONLY hill on the entire island, it really isn't that bad. And all the these bars are what I would call "dive bars" in that they are not fancy, very very rustic, and have a little raunchy atmosphere. Don't ask to see the photo album at Coconuts, it has photos of ... welll, its kinda like New Orleans at Mardi Gras.. This is exactly why I do my videos... so people can see the excursions and decide if that is what they want or not. robin Edited December 23, 2019 by ABQrobin
Rare vacationlover_mn Posted December 23, 2019 #8 Share Posted December 23, 2019 DH and I are in our mid 40’s, and prefer to lay in the sun(me)/shade(him) with drinks and food. We have heard great things about Nachi Cocum, and will be doing that:)
