Aqua/Drinks

Couple questions.  We booked Aqua class on Equinox for this summer along with the classic drink package perk.  As a first time cruiser how does one know what’s included with the classic package at different restaurants/bars?

For aqua are are there any additional perks aside from Persian garden and Blu? (Boarding or anything like that?)

Take a look on the website and you will see all the Aqua perks spelled out.

The bartenders and servers all which what is included with the beverage package and if you order something not included they will tell you how much additional you would have to pay, or advise you to make another choice.

The Celebrity website has info what is included in each package and the liquors included in the packages.  With the Classic package you can have cocktails and wine priced at $9 or under.  It also includes soda, specialty coffees & teas and bottled water ( generic brand).

Drinks if you have the classic package include all up to 9.  If you purchase one over that amount you will just pay the difference for example $12.00  You would pay $3+20% or $3.60  The bartenders and wait staff are all very knowledgeable in the areas of the drinks and will be able to guide you.  Never worry about asking to many questions to them or here.  Those are the main perks of the Aqua class room.  I love the Blu breakfast in that it is in a smaller dining room. Dinner is served in the same place and to many they love it some dont but food is all subjective.  The Equinox I believe just went thru its renovations over the summer so it will look great, looked great last year before renovations to me.  You will enjoy Celebrity if you like things more low key overall.  Its not a super crazy party line, people have fun but not the crazy drunken stupors I have seen on some ships.

We don't bother trying to figure it out. We just order what we want. In 10 cruises with the CBP we have not had an up charge. On the rare occasions that we order above package limits we choose something else or pay the difference + 20%.

Aqua class does get priority boarding, however so does Concierge, Suites, Elite, Elite+ and Zenith. You'll get a bottle of bubbly (we swap ours out for Prosecco), afternoon savories (we swap out for fruit or cheese plate).

CousinEddie:  As others have pointed out the bartenders know what is covered by what package and will tell you if you order something not covered by your package.  But in the Ensemble Lounge (located on deck 5) in the  bar menu which is placed on the tables you will find a list of drinks indicating what is covered by the premium package and what is covered by the classic; the list is at the back of the drink menu.

Also, at least in the past, the bar tenders have had a list of what drink is included in which package which they can give you.  To keep a clean counter this list has been behind the bar so folks needed to ask.

You'll also get everything Concierge gets but for the embarkation lunch.  Plush robes.  Shoe Shine.  Plus you get an upgraded shower with body jets.

Shoe shine.  I could have used that.
