Kind of a redundant question.  I have children, as you know, when we took them to eat at restaurants, it was certainly a place appropriate for their age.  By and large they were very well behaved, but when they weren't we always knew when to exit stage left.  So yes, to answer your question, I'd do the same with a grandchild.  And for the final time, it was a darn JOKE people!!!

We were on Celebrity Edge March 2019 having lunch in Luminae. I asked about a children's lunch menu. I was told Luminae do not have a children's lunch menu. This might be because Edge Class MDR is so far away from Luminae.

They don't have children's  menus in Australia? They usually offer smaller portions  (at a lower price in land restaurants) of the generic adult offerings. And since many North Americans cater to their child's  finicky food preferences, they will also offer what is called "child friendly" options - usually of poor nutritional value, like chicken nuggets, hot dogs, french fries  or mac n cheese. Not healthy, but it keeps the little snowflake from throwing a tantrum in the dining room.

If you are asking for yourself remember service is more personal in Luminae than the MDR in Blu. If you generally want smaller portions or have any other dietary requests chat to the MDR manager as you board (Luminae is open for lunch on boarding day). If you want you can discuss the next day’s menu after dessert and what modifications they can make or alternatives they can offer.

 

If you are asking re a child Luminae general menu portions are not massive and they will serve sauces etc on the side...They will also be willing to offer  starters as mains on request.

Some restaurants here offer children's menus that are just smaller portions of adult offerings, but at a smaller price too. It avoids poor nutrition issues - assuming the adult choices are healthy - while saving on waste and allowing a small saving in dining costs. That's a great idea IMO/
