Too many mailers!

In the last 2 days I have gotten 14 identical copies of Windstar’s mailer advertising its small ship big world promotion. 
 

Has this happened to anyone else?  I can see maybe one or two extra, but 7 per day for two days running (so far) is a little excessive.

I haven't received one either.  I get mailings from Regent at least once a week.  These companies should cut back on the mailings and lower the prices to entice people to book.

We have received a number of Windstar promotions probably 10-15 . While I like getting specials to look at it has clearly been obsessive We do not want to unsubscribe it sounds like desperation has hit windstar to get sales..

The last thing we got from Regent was a full Sears catalog.  I had to hold on to it to show my wife.  😂

Not as many here but far more mailings than necessary.  Windstar isn't the only guilty party.  Lindblad and Star Clippers also grace our mailbox more often than necessary.  Heck, I'd spend several months of every year cruising if I could.  Reading about it is no substitute.

Who got mine ? Sailing on the Surf in a few weeks. Maybe they sent mine to the yacht ?

It seems odd.  I have noticed that once I book a cruise, the email frequency drops as if they did not want me to know our cruise could be priced lower.  I have noticed this on our last 3 cruises.  We are booked on the Surf in March so will check to see if this pattern repeats itself.

I can on;y surmise that these mailers must work in some way. Mine go straight into the recycling bun.

The company I work for does a lot of direct mail and we can pull our lists from our database to specifically exclude certain groups of customers based on criteria such as when they last bought from us, if we've delivered their most recent purchase yet, if they have an opportunity in the current pipeline, etc.  I can't imagine Windstar doesn't do the same.

Yes, I get 3 or 4 of the same flyer!  I don’t understand as it’s such a waste of money!  They all have my name on them.

Yep - I got six more yesterday - identical and all addressed to me.  Doesn't exactly inspire confidence about their operations.
