SOLARIUM BISTRO RESTAURANT

Hello..hoping someone can answer this.  On Oasis...is the Solarium Bistrol open for DINNER and what

it the charge....? When I look it up it shows open 9 - 4 pm , but also shows two separate menus...?

one for lunch buffet? one for dinner?  no prices on menu?  Please help me straighten this out in my

mind.  Thank you in Advance.

Can't speak for Oasis but Solairum Bistro on Harmony opened for lunch and there was no charge and it then opened for dinner for a charge and needed a reservation.  Seem to remember charge was $15.

Free for lunch and dinner. No reservation needed for lunch. Reservations recommended for dinner. There is a charge for certain menu items for dinner but only as an option, otherwise all free.

Just got off the Anthem on Monday. There is no charge for lunch or dinner. It is a complimentary dining venue.

Harmony in January - No charge for dinner, 
they had a salad bar and appetizers in a buffet style as well as some dinner items or you could order off a menu for your entree.

Just off Allure (a sister ship) and the Solarium bistro was Samba's at night. Reservations recommended, can't remember the fee per person as we used our buy one get one as D+ people.

Does anyone know if Allure will still have Samba after the refub. Really enjoyed the free solarium restaurant on Anthem in the evening and was hoping Allure may change to same after her refub later this year

Bistro is also a great place for embarkation day lunch, busy but never crowded.

We have her booked for later this year and Samba is not a option, they now have a pretty good, reservation needed,  dinner in the Solarium Bistro.

On Ovation lunch-no reservation, supper you need one and No charge. Great food

No - generally, the selections tend to be geared towards being healthier.

The solarium is 16+ and the restaurant is in an area just as you enter so it could be restricted also.

No age restriction for the bistro- that only applies to the Solarium itself.

No, it is completely unrelated to the MDR.

No restrictions on underage kids passing through the Solarium to go to the restaurant.

The Solarium is like the Casino in that regard.

 

Underage cruisers can pass through on their way to somewhere else.  🙂

We LOVE Solarium Bistro.  We ate there almost every night on Harmony.  Allure will get Solarium Bistro at refurb, which we will enjoy in November!   As stated, it is free, but you can order some upgraded charged items if you want to.  We saw all ages of kids there, but the tables are farther apart than in MDR, which makes it a more quiet and relaxing atmosphere. 

 

I always order the lamb chops for $9.99 one night as a splurge... very good!  

 

The only disappointment is that the desserts have changed quite a bit and they no longer serve the delicious “bienenstich” kind of pie.  😔
