what promo did you book under, if any, and specifically, did it include wifi ?

I changed my booking to Best Sail Ever, that was the promo. As you can see from what I posted no Wi-Fi just what you see above. I already have 250 minutes & I have never used all of them.

Any other questions please ask. Not bad for $1,349.

You just need to keep on track of any new sale, a lot of them are posted on CC, to see what’s offered.

This looks like you added Perks to an existing booking rather than re-fare to BSE. I say this because Perks reads like ours fro adding BEST2DG. So where did the $1349 come from. Unless that is added cost rather than a saving ???

It looks more like you added drinks and gratuity (as past of BSE) to your booking rather than change your booking to BSE. If you had changed the booking to BSE, you would have received wifi as well. I'm confused why it would cost $1,349 though? Or do you mean you SAVED $1,349?

Everything I posted is what I saved by getting the BSE promo. I just wanted people to see what the promo value had I purchased these myself.

Yes I saved $1,349 with these FREE perks.

Ah, understood! Did your fare not increase to add the perks, though?

BSE is a great deal, especially the add ons for previously booked cruises.  I have a 28 day cruise booked for 2021.  If I bought the PBP and Wi-Fi for myself and DW, it would have added $4,440.00 to the cost of the cruise.  (Grats were already included with my booking promo.)  I was able to add the PBP and Wi-Fi for a total of $1400.00 using the BSE add-ons, so I got these extra benefits with a savings of $3,040.00.  (BTW, I just calculated my Wi-Fi cost for us at the Platinum Discount rate. If I used the standard rate for Wi-Fi, then I would have added another $140.00. to our savings.)  BSE is a huge win for us!

Looks like the promo that was just before BSE.  I booked one of my cruises under that promo, which included the wine, specialty dining, OBC, and air discount. Then added on BSE.  Great deal!

How do we get to the BSE add ons? I've logged in to the cruise personaliser but can't see it in there.

Obviously this would be to add it to an existing booking.

Thanks.

Sorry to tell you this but this is from Princess about the BSE:

"only available to residents of 50 United States or D.C., Canada, and Puerto Rico."

Yes it did increase a little but I liked the extra perks. Kind of like treating myself.

Tom😎

Hmmm. How come you didn't subtract the fare increases from your "savings?"

You are correct Daniel but I think most countries have a version of the BSE. In Australia it's called Oceans of Offers and offers Beverages (first time in my memory for here) and unlimited Net. I think I read the UK have some sort of option as well.

Didn’t think of that. I saved $1,000 with the promo.

If you do a mock booking you have 2 fare options with or without the BSE.

Hate to hammer the point, but your posts confuse a re-fare to BSE and adding Perks to an existing cruise. Many people are unaware of the difference. Your listing shows existing perks and additional 'BSE' perks. You no doubt paid extra for those new perks. Your reference to '2 fare options with or without the BSE' implies re-faring.

I think we should be ok. It's quoted as £35 per person per day for us. Hopefully our travel agent can sort it for us.

I also changed a previously booked cruise to BSE but did not get 2 bottles of wine and specialty dining . Just Bev Pkg, Free WiFi and Gratuities.  How did you score the other perks?

I think the other perks were part of Cyber Sale (or another sale).

My sister switched to Cyber Sale from Sip and Sale (and saved quite a bit of money), gained some benefits (OBC, wine, dinner) and then added perks to her booking through BSE. Added gratuities and drink package.
