I agree should look very pulchritudinous when the new purple bin arrives to join it.

Yes, should be getting the purple bin in 2024. Not sure what to do with the newspapers for the next 4 years!

Nice new avatar picture Kalos.

Is that you and Mrs Kalos?

Graham.

It is Graham, was a picture taken last year just before my illness .

When it was taken I think Mrs K was being very affectionate or

simply trying to get me to go to the bar again .:classic_unsure:

Nice photo.

Great to put a face to a brilliant poster.

Graham.

Anyone else see the resemblance to the monolith in "2001 A Space Oddessy", apart from the grass, and the fact that it's a bin, and made out of plastic ?

Just uncanny really.

If I see any monkeys banging away with a stick I'll let you know.

I’m sorry, Dave. I can’t do that.

(Tempted to add ‘You’re my wife now’ but that’s too much of a mix!) 😃

Got an interesting morning planned today. I'm going to pressure wash one of our wheelie bins with my new pressure washer. I may well post photos later for those of you that enjoy pictures of that sort of thing. I call it "wheelie porn"

Feel free to post your "where you wheelie bin" jokes.

Sometimes life is just too exciting! Lady W is off to Poundland to get away from the excitement.

I don't share your idea of an interesting morning, hence a man comes here every four weeks on bin day and cleans my bin for me; costs £4 a go.

I would have mentioned this earlier, had I know you were about to go out, buy a pressure washer, get soaked, and drive poor Lady W out of her home.🤣

Re-examine them and count how many times the word pulchritudinous was used.

Never try using that word as a chat up line on the landlady of a Bar ,

unless you don't mind being sat in A&E for 2 hours and barred from that pub for life .:classic_ohmy: :classic_unsure:

Your juxtaposition of the bin with a peaceful, bucolic background epitomizes the struggle of the products of industrialization and the natural habitat.

It could win the Turner prize with a description like that!

Harry, you got me stumped with the "wife" reference, although I am aware of it. Put me out of my misery!

You pay someone!

It's so much fun he should pay you.

Poor you. Do you normally get a reaction like that? Neither Frank or I have had a problem with them, just a slight sniffle sometimes.

Avril

I have always had a cold after having the flu vaccination but this is the first time that I have a swollen painful arm.

We've always been fortunate with the flu vaccination reactions so far🤞, but I shall be prepared this time and not be so complacent. Thank you for warning.

So pleased everything went well and you'll soon be home. The best place to recuperate.
