P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

Well I’m all ready for our cruise tomorrow morning, all house work done and packing finished it’s the most I’ve been prepared for a holiday, no looking after in-laws and grandchildren now , so quite a relaxing day today, just been out for our pre cruise dinner so I don’t mess the kitchen up 😂 local restaurant to us just a 5 minute walk so plenty to drink , we did have a bottle of wine but I didn’t take a photo of it I forgot

The wedding is in Abingdon, just outside of Oxford and we haven’t been to Oxford before so we’re planning on having a wander round on Sunday before heading home. My husband is one of two best men so we’re traveling up on Friday morning so he can go to the rehearsal.

 

Hope you’re much better in time for the wedding, sounds a lovely place for it.

I had a bad chest infection after my bout with 'you know what' and  it can take a few days before the antibiotics feel to be working. 

I hope your much better for the wedding and have an enjoyable weekend.

A nice morning here too.  I am awaiting delivery of a new fridge, as mine conked out yesterday morning.  A bit of a hassle (worse when you are solely responsible) ordering a new one the right size etc., but managed it and it is apparently on the way before 1 from Currys.  Just hope it works, as an order is arriving at 4 with cold stuff in it.  The old one was 20, so had done quite well.  Also of course having the old one taken and recycled, at vast cost!

 

I see Arcadia is poised for takeoff in Southampton - should be a lovely trip, hopefully with sunny weather.

It’s quite misty here and the coldest (coolest) it’s been for ages.  However, the sun is battling through and we are forecast a nice day.  It was brilliant yesterday, just like summer, and we let it get the better of us and walked nearly 7 miles!  Slept well 🙂

My BiL had a chest infection after you know what, it took a while but the antibiotics eventually cleared it up, so persevere with them, they do work.

I can vouch for that!!

Its a beautiful morning here but feels cool at the moment, forecast 15 degrees later.

 

Just going out to a coffee group that meets every two weeks. Disaster last time, they had got a fancy coffee machine. It made two cups and packed in. Back to the good old traditional way, make your own
