Rabbit, Rabbit, White rabbit 🐇.

Good luck to everyone on the first day of the month.

14°C and sunny here.

And which month would that be then Graham?😁😄

It's dull, cold and overcast here, with worse to come over the rest of the week. So I'm thinking.......October? November maybe?🤔😉

From a cold and fed-up

Clear blue sky in Surrey. Lovely day, but there is still time for folk to urine it.🤣

August Avril.

You need a cruise preferably to the Canary Islands Avril.

Remember to say it first thing in the morning but definitely before noon for good luck.

I'm watching the ladies world cup at the moment and the football and goals have been outstanding.

Miserable and grey up in Stoke in Trent but at least its not throwing it down with rain like yesterday.

But it is cold, our heating switched on this morning.

The sort of day to start looking at cruises to warmer climes.

I was always told be my parents and teachers that you only say "white rabbits" if there was an R in the month. Having just googled it I have come to the conclusion that I have been lied to the whole of my life! 🤔

All this superstition about good luck and white rabbits .

Here we are on a cruise site , Google "why not to say white rabbits on a ship"

Just off to chuck some salt over my shoulder and try not to break any mirrors 😉

And avoid walking under ladders too.

You don't know who could be up there with a pot of paint or a hammer👷‍♂️

Many superstitions originate from the sea.

The captain on our last cruise told us not to cross your knife and fork because the pirates will come.

And touch wood comes from not wanting to bang your head on the low beams, walking with your hand out in front.

Have to admit that the sun has now decided to make an appearance .. we are in North Wales now. Hoping it lasts at least 10 minutes ...

Seeing as the window cleaner has just been, I predict rain here in the next hour!!

We're on Arvia on 17th as well. I can give Mrs Bucket a run for her money🤣 our roll call is pretty quiet.

England's ladies have just scored their 4th goal ( well 5th actually because one was disallowed). I have seen some cracking football over the last few days - no arguing with the ref, no clutching of the face when someone's been kicked in the leg, no cheating. Seems the women don't need the acting lessons!

Have good rest-of-the-day everyone. Jane xx

Final score: China 1 England 6 and extremely enjoyable.

Just a bit of totally useless information for you: Lauren and Reece James both play for Chelsea and are the first ever siblings to both play for England. There must be a very proud mum out there today. Right, enough of my football commentary. I'm off out for another walk with Ted. Forecast for tomorrow is pretty grim re dog walking so extra walks today. Bye for now. Jane xx
