Im glad you all had some lovely dinners turned out seeing all your pictures and opening your presents, and watching all the carry on films, I hope you all had a lovely day in the situation, not being able to share with your families is very hard for all , and the awful weather you have all had , my son sent me a picture of my back garden with what looks like everybody’s rubbish blown out of the bins and spent a hour picking it up . Lovely picture of you Graham and Pauline glad you got to go out and enjoy a meal together Hope everyone is feeling well and happy at the moment ( I had a few laughs at the Brussels sprouts saga) I certainly didn’t miss the shopping hustle I normally go through. We are due to fly home New Year’s Eve and have not had any emails from easyJet to change flight so all good there, not done very much while we’ve been here just chilling and sunbathing around the pool and a few bbqs take care everyone Love that salad overwhelmed by the mountain of homemade chips and half a cow steak.

This seems like a parallel universe to me! Us tier 4 lepers can only dream of such things 😊 Think October when we went to Devon was the last meal out for us.!

Rare Eddie99 Posted December 28, 2020 #11812 Share Posted December 28, 2020 Sun - envious! Snow - no, I’ve never liked it It’s cold and crisp here. Nice and dry. Dog walk sometime around 10 and then back to relative normality, catching up on household chores. I’m certainly not feeling in Bank Holiday mode

Just rain at the moment... Andy I have just been looking at our local paper online and they are reporting big disruptions on the roads and the council is advising people not to go out unless absolutely necessary. There is a major route that cuts right through the city from north to south and apparently that is shut so fun for anyone trying to get to work today.
purplesea Posted December 28, 2020 #11817 Share Posted December 28, 2020 Lovely pictures. I like both the sun and snow. What have we got down here? Strong winds and heavy showers - got woken up at 3 am by hail rattling against the window!

Brilliant to walk through the snow with the dog. Quite a lot of people doing the same thing and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves whether on two legs or four. I even saw a kingfisher a couple of times by one of the many streams.
