While I'm there I'll also look for Buckys Green Dragon Hot sauce. My sister gave Bucky the Green Dragon hot sauce for Christmas...had to check. It's from Trader Joes. When I grill a pork tenderloin, I have enough left over for another meal. I slice it into medallions, pouring a good portion of BBQ sauce mixed with the Thai Chili sauce and heat it back up. Gives it that "sweet heat". 😉

We have the funeral on 2 local stations and I am glued to the TV. Wonderful traditions that are followed and I feel for bad for the Queen who has to sit alone for the funeral. Again I send you my condolences and long live the monarchy. Thank you so much for your kind words and condolences. It is an extremely sad day for us all in the UK and especially for Her Majesty the Queen. Graham & Pauline x.

We have not seen the Queen for a while, I was surprised how frail she looked as she walked into the Chapel. I had forgotten that she is soon to be 95.

I've never even heard of a title company. When I bought my land my lawyer did whatever he had to do in town hall and I got my title. Easy as can be. Some states are "Attorney" states. That means the Attorney will handle gathering all the title docs (from a title company). The Attorney will then record all the necessary papers at the local courthouse, as needed in every US state. In other states you have the option to pay/hire a closing attorney but not required.

Other than having to review about 50 pages and provide the usual bank statements, pay stubs and get the hoa docs it all went smoothly. She was a bit overwhelmed at the amount of forms too. I reviewed them and just explained that most were just docs to help make an informed decision. Most home loans go thru nice and smooth like your Daughters. Yes, the paperwork is overwhelming. Majority of the forms are "boiler plate" and required by federal and state regulations. They are suppose to be consumer friendly but they are not. The most important forms are your Loan Application, Closing Statement, Mortgage Note and Deed of Trust. I am using it as a way of getting to see Windsor - which was my planned stop after the cruise that was cancelled last june. I will get. To see it in real life one day. A sad day for the Queen although one has to say that he had a good life. I also watched Prince Philips funeral. Very sad and moving. The Queen did look so lonely. But she also looks amazing for 94 yrs old. she gets around great! Happy to see Harry, William and Kate were walking together and speaking to each other. I did feel bad that Harry had to walk behind his Brother at one point and it was a Shame Harry had to sit alone during the service as did the Queen. Prince Philips selection of music was perfect. He would be very happy with the service he chose. I would have liked to see the Wool coffin he chose. I never heard of them till this past week. I hope they become more common and become available in the US.

Yes ... so many reconfigurations this year ... we are thinking (not yet planning) on trying to catch one of those cruises out of Athens ... perhaps a last minute decision as things settle down ... still waiting to see what will really be "real" ... good luck on your cruise out of Rome! That has my wife a little freaked out. We vacuumed the master bedroom floor and rugs yesterday in case any pieces of broken glass made it all the way to the bedroom. This morning, she found a small piece of glass in the rug nearest the bathroom door. Time for a very thorough floor and rug cleaning (while wearing shoes).

Your dinner sounds yummy as well! 🙂 Yeah, you will find a lot of us posting pictures of dinner on this thread. It's a part of the "lockdown" effort...to keep others in the know (and drool 😉 ) over our "food porn". 😄 Might be only another couple of dinners on our porch table, (BTW...Bucky did the tile work on it) as I have a new high top wooden pub set coming in from Wayfair on Monday. After quite a few hours of "some assembly required" of course. 😵

In the late 80s (pre-kids, pre-marriage) I would rent a house in Stone Harbor NJ with several other guys. We lived in PA and we'd drive there every weekend during the summer. We'd often stop in AC either on the way down or on the way back. I remember going to the Atlantis Casino which was previously the Playboy and subsequently the Trump Regency. It had cheap tables, which was good for us low rollers. I just looked to see who owns it now and found that it was torn down more than 20 years ago. 😲 I'm getting old.
dani negreanu Posted April 17, 2021 Author #13267 Share Posted April 17, 2021 (edited) As of today, no masks are required outside. 1st time we took the grandkids to the beach, even though the water was very cold. DH had the brilliant idea to go early, to manage a spot in the limited shade. The last day of a long week-end (Independence Day).
