I personally would Not have booked this sailing if they didn't even have a ship yet.    Wonder if they will have penalties/cancellation fees for reserving various ports.

Yep, this.

"Hello!  I'd like to pay for a three year world cruise."

"Fantastic!  We'll take your money, no problem."

"What ship will this be on?"

"Don't worry, you'll be on a luxurious cruise ship...just like home."

"But what ship is it?"

"Oh, we've got a bunch of contracts signed.  Don't worry...we'll have one by embarkation day."

"Alrighty then, sign me up!!!"

I'm sure I've fallen for my share of scams, but that sounds like a cluster from day one.

I had mentioned this cruise to J quite a while ago and he was dubious about it .  Obviously ,they didn’t do their due diligence before signing up and divesting themselves of their “ stuff “.

I like that hat. I like the yarn you are using too.

Thanks.  I picked this color for Va Tech, and plan to give it my son who went there.  If all goes well, I’ll make another in an NC State color, (red or black) for my other son.  I just finished two hats like the one I made for myself a few weeks ago, to give to my daughters in law.

You have inspired me to start a hat for my new step grandson.  He really liked the one from last year.  I didn't think I would have time this year but I can work it in.  I finished the ornaments for a couple of people so I am ahead.

I made sure to like all of your posts but I want to say thank you to everyone who made a comment about Linda and i’s health issues. Thank you so much for your care and concern. We are positive that things will get better it just sucks hurting during the holidays. I’ve been rehabbing like crazy with PT 3 times a week plus 5 fifteen minute sessions on the rom bike daily. As they say no pain no gain. But again thank you for your care and support it means everything to me.

I’m just now catching up again.
I’m sorry Linda is going to be going through pain and rehab. Hopefully, you will take turns so there’s always someone who can do the cooking!

As long as it is something that can be repaired, it can be managed. I don’t ever look forward to surgery, but it beats the heck out of hearing a doctor saying “I’m sorry, but nothing can be done”.

Hopefully you will both be at a point where you can not only make that cruise, but will enjoy it!

Wonderful ornaments! It’s so nice to greet them when you start hanging them, and are reminded of the day they joined your family.

I don't recall if you posted pictures of ornaments you made.  Would love to see them.

I discovered a problem when my daughter texted me to say she didn’t get my emailed Christmas wish list.
Today’s emails piled up in my Outbox, and the Walgreens one I received at 10:04am was the last I received.
So by now I would have 30 or 40 in my Junk mail, including 15 or 20 that should be in my inbox.
The internet otherwise is fine. When I try to send from Outbox I get the message my yahoo account failed.
Hopefully none of the emails are important so I’ll worry Monday.
Being totally inept technologically, I’m in trouble!

I’m attaching the notice I get, in case anyone has a quick solution!

I’m on my iPhone, with an att.net address, but left AT&T 5 or more years ago.
Comcast Infinity has been fine right up to now!

Good morning.  We had a much needed day of rain yesterday.  Had a lovely Christmas lunch with friends at a cafe overlooking a plant nursery.CC1B7FEC-39B9-4A75-BF18-6532E230A65E.thumb.jpeg.4b0f13358b03f2ac232e64207c10ec46.jpeg

We had a table in the corner out of the photo overlooking the nursery.

Too busy chatting to take photos of the mains.  Desserts -  only managed two photos - this one with a kick of chilli was much enjoyed by one of my friends.

The Medovik Honey Cake was also a popular choice although it was too strong on honey for me.  Should have chosen the pavlova.

One of my friends is a keen photographer and gifts us a lovely calendar of photos from her travels each year. This year it is Australian birds from her travels  ❤️ I also love the Christmas card that she gave each of us.5DD3A761-6EFE-4A1D-B160-0BF5D8C62A06.thumb.jpeg.f8f34e4a632d7cbaa2965e3de3ddd3fe.jpeg

My photographer friend is from Portugal.  She recently visited the Tasmanian Devil unzoo sanctuary whilst in Tasmania and was delighted to be able to feed the many kangaroos they have roaming there.  She said she never wanted to wash her hands afterwards.  Which made us all smile 🦘

I love unique cards such as hers.   😍   Sounds like you had a lovely day with your friend.   Those deserts look delicious.

It's always lovely spending lunch/dinner with good friends, and the holidays just make it seem more special!

Did your friend also make this Christmas card?  It is beautiful!
