Bathroom not yet normal tomorrow...guys from the cabinet/vanity top company just coming in to do template (measurements) for cutting the slab.  Will be a week or two before they come back out with polished and cut slab,  and also have to set the sinks/faucets.  Floor tile turned out great and was done a day earlier than projected.  🙂

I'm so jealous of the progress in your bathroom. Ours is totally gutted. Yesterday they cut out part of the slab and even with the windows open and plastic sheeting, my house has a pretty thick layer of cement dust.

The MRI came out fine but my Neurologist has no idea why I am still having headaches.

He referred me to a doctor who specializes in hypertension and headaches.I have an appointment on Feb.22.

Good to see you back here.

That in itself is very good news 👍

However,5 minutes after my doctor called I got a call telling me that a 39 year old cousin died .Her mother died last August from cancer. Her daughter had MS and fell out of her wheelchair and had been in a hospital for several weeks and died.Yesterday was the Zoom funeral.Even though she and her mom lived in  California I was very close to both of them.

I hear 'ya there on the dust.  Gag...I am soooo tired of wiping up the dust.  Could be months before I find all of it...stuff gets into everything!!  Drywall dust and cement dust.  🤢🤧

So sad to hear.  Indeed has been a very bad year for many.  😞

That's great news your MRI was fine.

The stress you have been under is probably contributing to your headaches.

That is terribly sad news Lenny.

Deepest sympathy from Pauline and I.

My son does that.  My favorite is he tells them to give him their number and he will call them back!  They always  hang right up.

Yes,all I hear is about people dying. I posted before that my two closest friends died last year.I call their wives at least once a week and it is very difficult to complete a conversation without tearing up.

Hi Debbie,

Yes, yesterday I was more or less wiped out... What kept me "going" for the last weeks was that I knew the lockdown will end this Sunday, and the kids will return to the kindergarten and therefore their parents will get back to full time work...

But, since, even with a very successful roll out of vaccines, the number of positives is high ("British" mutation and all "that jazz"), the opening of kindergartens and schools will be according the "levels".

As of now, only levels green and yellow will be back. The grandkids's kindergartens are in a "orange" city, while they live in a yellow one (DS and his family are due to move into their new house in a month time, and already registered them there).

So today we got a "free day" and our in-laws are in charge of them... We took the opportunity to breath a bit of a fresh air, and walked a trail on a cliff overlooking the sea.

For you, and for (snowed in) Graham @grapau27 some pics

So happy to hear you are ok and just "wiped out" from the kiddos.

And glad to hear you got a break today and were able to go for a nice walk.     I wish I had something like local to walk to.    The color of the water is so beautiful.   Gorgeous pictures - Thank you 😍

Leaving in just over an hour for the drive south to our county health department for our appointment, 3:30 second Covid vaccine shot.  Hope all goes well as it did for the first one.  Soooo anxious to get this second shot, then the 2 week waiting period to have it hopefully take affect.

Bucky bought me flowers for early Valentines day, lunch out at our local community restaurant, and now off to get our shots, and a visit to the nearby Total wine for restock.  🤗🍷  A good day!

Tomorrow the guys from the cabinet/counter top company are coming to do a template for cutting the slab of quartz they had in stock for our vanity counter top.  Tile guys finished up early, Bucky has the cabinets set and good to go, and I am soooo ready to return to a normal bathroom again!

Sounds like a Great Day!     Enjoy🤩

Happy to hear the MRI came back ok.    It does get tiring going to doctors all the time, but seeing a specialist is a great plan of action.    Take care and enjoy your day 🤩   How's the weather where you are?    Any more snow?   I am getting tired of shoveling every couple of days.

My late mam used to keep a whistle next to the phone and if she got a pest call she would take a deep breath and give the whistle a long blow next to the phone.

Make sure you check the filter on your HVAC system.    A couple years ago I was doing some renovations then out of the blue my AC stopped working.    didn't even dawn on us to check the filter, my Hvac guy came out and had a good laugh (I have known him for several years).    My filter was full of dust from the renovation that it was suffocating my central AC.   changed filter and viola I had AC again.
