I’ll be there shortly, hopefully there is room at the table. 😋

I know quite a few of us in here would love to join in on that dinner.

Plenty of room (we're 5, the table seats 12 and we can open more...) and plenty of leftovers for Lisa, Andrew, Owen, Bonnie, Jack and all the others who would like to join us 😁

This picture was taken in February 2008, when we served our traditional Jewish dish

Cholent (Yiddish: טשאָלנט‎, romanized: tsholnt or tshulnt) or hamin (Hebrew: חמין‎) is a traditional Jewish stew. It is usually simmered overnight for 12 hours or more, and eaten for lunch on Shabbat (the Sabbath).

During the summer, on the veranda, we can host at least 14 people.

@h20skibum

I know that I "like" or "thanks" all your enjoyable pictures, with or without your grandkids.

I just want to say, and I safely assume I'm speaking in the name of all of us here, that we'd like you to continue -- especially those with the grandkids "enlarge" our hearts 💕

A big THANK YOU 🌺

This morning, we traveled to Erie to spend a few days here.  Before we left, we saw the squirrels have discovered the feeder.

Spent the afternoon on the beach, and it was a beautiful, warm day to be there.

It's transfer day!  Got all of our laundry done yesterday, plus a lot of packing.  Now just the last Hummingbird feeder to empty and stash in the "big blue bird box".   Already the Finches are having a hissy fit the Sunflower feeder is missing...until they find the pile I left them on the ground.  😉

Luckily it is a beautiful weather day, have to be out of here by 10 am.  Visiting our previous campground host we used to stay with the last 15 years.  He had a mild stroke, and wanted to stop by to check on him.  He insisted we stop by before we leave.

Then hitting the road north bound with all of our "precious stuff", including the bird feeders, and now two large flower pots.  😮  Good thing they upgraded our SUV for a larger one...needed it!!

Moose cabin on the lake...here we come!  🦌

Sounds like you are both having a fantastic time Pat.

Your next stop sounds great too.

A few pics from the last couple of days.

The corn is a bit taller now. Chopper fungicide spraying will happen any day now.

And we were at another ball game last night.  Owen finally struck out after 7 games. His streak has ended. Time to start another one he says. Caught a few pop flies for outs, had some hits but never got home.

Hopefully his team can break their 3 game losing streak. It maybe rep ball, but I can honestly say some of the teammates are not as competitive as Owen.  Simple mistakes are being made and it seems like we have no luck in outside at the moment.

Happy for you all to be able to rearrange.

Thanks.  The guy renting it to us not only changed it for free,  we are able to stay 8 days.  He added an extra day!  He has a great heart.  I am looking forward to the whole family living the life like you two do!  If you like shuffleboard you would love their courts at Lakeside.  They hold Ohio State  Suffleboard Association sanctioned tournaments.  The courts are waxed and glass beads are applied.  So smooth.

I have had that!!  Indeed Yum!!  My favorite spice to have with dipping oil!  🙂

I just discovered that spice company on web .  It’s located In Elysburg, PA.  There spices are so fresh.  They send a sample pack of one of there blends with each order.

There’s nothing quite like a big table surrounded by family.

I agree!  We are having our two oldest grandsons, 8 & 10, stay with us beginning 8/15.  Their Mom said “just bring them back before school starts on 8/30”  LOL.  Between on/off distance learning and summer, I think she’s had enough!

I had already started a list of New England activities, but @h20skibumhas really raised the bar!  #grandparentinggoals
