You can add "beat it, and scramble out of here to that"  😉 - Be safe up there in beautiful Victoria, Ann!  Is the Dutch Carillon still playing its tunes at noon?

Just at 7pm right now, not sure if its just a thing here or not but we make noise to show the love to health care professionals daily @ 7, now!

Good morning, I see the Rotterdam is now scheduled for 22:22 today

It has been stated by others that 22:22 is used by PEV as a placeholder for "TBD after Noon" and 11:11 for "TBD before Noon" so watch for that time to change. Maybe the day too. (Look at the ARR time for the OHIO just above the Rotterdam and the Tug below)snip.JPG.aff84107abe0fedc131b44598f99f54a.JPG

I've had to do that in my airplane quite a few times when tower had too much traffic to let me in.  Sure uses up a lot of fuel.😒

It would be interesting to see them try to 'stack' the cruise ships the way aircraft get stacked! 🤪

Rotterdam pushed back on the schedule until 11:11 tomorrow (4/9) morning.

Nieuw Amsterdam no longer on schedule.

Roy

And yesterday the Zuiderdam was on the schedule for tomorrow, but that has also disappeared.

Does that make sense?  ok, on April 7th the PE schedule had Zuiderdam listed for arrival & departure on 9th April.

this just posted by Holland America

UPDATE April 8 (5:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. ET): Yesterday, April 7, 29 people moved from Zaandam to Rotterdam. There are now 53 total guests and contract service staff on Rotterdam waiting for flights (29 guests and 24 contract service staff). We are working on finalizing flights and logistics for travel home.

Following the transfer, Zaandam sailed from Port Everglades and will now undergo extensive sanitation measures and a 14-day self-quarantine plan in alignment with guidance by the U.S. CDC.

Holland America Line also is working on final details for all ships until operations resume. A select complement of our crew from navigation, engine and hotel departments will remain on board to maintain safe operations of the vessels during this lay-up period. We are working on arrangements to get the remaining crew members home as soon as possible. Crew members who cannot get home due to closed borders or lack of flights, will stay on the ships until we are able to get them home.

And now, pursuant to CDC requirements, HAL has to charter some form of transportation to deliver 29 guests to their home cities.  That may be taking up some time.

Rich:   Thank you for the information.  This explains why the Zaandam is kink of going around the way she is.
