I have not.  I do wonder if they are starting a purge of those who've not cruised recently. 🤷🏻‍♀️  Not being an alarmist (of course it could just be their "stellar" IT system 🙄🤪) but I have not cruised with Celebrity since Jan 2023, and currently have nothing booked with them.  I would like to cruise with them again, but their pricing as well as the change to the packages (removing gratuities 🤦🏻‍♀️ that literally no one asked for) has made me consider other lines.  I'm hoping for some great Black Friday deals, or Wave season offers.

That would not make sense for two reasons. January 2023 is pretty recent. Second they come in the Captains Club mailings which include other marketing like the Captains Club Newsletters. I think it is a case of incompetent IT.

Neither of us received the email and we just disembarked Beyond on Sunday and have 5 more booked.  So, I think it is more likely an IT snafu.

For some reason, there were only spaces for four Captain's Club numbers this time. I had to open another browser and enter my other son's number. I can usually put all five numbers on one viewing. With so many people experiencing freezing, I'm surprised I was able to run it in two browsers simultaneaously without issues. Whew!

That is of course much more logical than my theorizing. Thanks for the data point. There truly is no reasoning when it comes to these PUPs distribution emails.  For much the same reason I get another cruise lines casino emails when I don’t play visit the casino.

Thank-you to TraderSam (and others) for posting the link. I usually do receive these, but not this time. Wow ... would've hated to miss out on those 3 points!

 

As for the webinar, I wanted to watch and learn a bit about an unfamiliar destination, but I just couldn't! After about the 100th Uhs and UMs from Miss Andrea, I found it impossible to concentrate. Off with the sound! She's probably a lovely person but for Heaven's sake ... can't Celebrity find a grown-up who can speak like a professional?!
