Rare lv2cruisgrl Posted July 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2020 On June 26th we canceled our Apex Nov 14th cruise because we felt this will never sail. Miami is such a hot spot for Covid we can't imagine ships sailing out of there and so we pulled the plug. We just got our deposit July 4th. It only took a week! Amazing....We feel sad as we loved Edge and was looking forward to Apex but not until it's safer. Cruise on ......

Rare Lady Arwen Posted July 5, 2020 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2020 We also cancelled our 2021 TA on Apex. We just don’t feel comfortable with being out to sea so many days should there be a health scare and far from land. We did rebook a 14 day Baltics cruise for May on Silhouette. Hopeful we’ll actually be able to sail, but nothing is certain right now.

jelayne Posted July 6, 2020 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2020 We cancelled a October B2B on June 23, no refund of deposit yet. However, I did get a airfare refund from AA it showed up on my Credit card today but dated 7/1, so maybe out deposits will get posted soon. Rare hcat Posted July 6, 2020 #7 Share Posted July 6, 2020 We also cancelled a Nov 2020 cruise on APEX ..refund of our deposit was slow but is now done . We added a 5 day cruise on her for Nov 2021 ( getting my yrs confused but that seems right?). It's shorter than our orig choice but we reserved a Sky Suite so we could experience Luminae and the Retreat. Hope the APEX art collection is awesome! We enjoyed AQ Class on EDGE ( Blu and Thermal suite) and a Sunset Veranda with the 4 mdr plan.. ...so this will be a new experience for us! Hope to see some Celebrity regulars on board!,
twins_to_alaska Posted July 6, 2020 #8 Share Posted July 6, 2020 Glad yours was so quick. I cancelled my refundable deposit Nov 05 cruise on Apex (first US cruise, 2 nighter) on March 26. Refunded April 13. I was less optimistic about the sailing chance a lot earlier.
