Where was an earthquake... but it was mainly the fire which followed  which destroyed the town of    Napier   

 

Update Napier was flooded with over 200mm of rain on Monday. and into this morning.

Was very interesting doing the coach tour of the town, and discovering how many thousands of acres of land became available after the land and seafloor rose.

It was the right way around. I just posted it upside down to provide a clue for it being in Australia
