Phillip Island Penguin Parade Live Feed

The Phillip Island Nature Parks have a live feed each evening of the Penguin Parade on YouTube or FB.  At the moment it is starting around 6pm AES. We have watched it this evening and for those who haven't seen the parade before, it is quite interesting and you are not going to be cold sitting waiting for them. There are rangers explaining what happens when the penguins come out of the water.

And it's free.. love Phillip Island, love the surf  love the area and love the penguins. First saw them in the 70's  much more of an up close and personal experience back then, went a couple of years ago still a great experience.  🙂

Thanks Leigh. Phillip Island was definitely on our itinerary through all the different versions of our down under adventure. That part will stay no matter how many times we change the plan.

I just watched the last 5 or so min. of tonight's events - certainly good fun. Must set up a reminder for tomorrow night. I went on a shore ex in Akaroa year before last to the little blue penguin sanctuary there. But as it was during the day, the penguins were out at sea but we saw a few young ones that being hand-fed and checked out a few burrows for chicks. The distanced these little ones cover on foot are quite incredible.
