davyjones Posted November 5, 2020 #28 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Cunard 2022 cruises up to December 2022 are now online (in the UK) with booking starting 17 Nov.
TheOldBear Posted November 5, 2020 #29 Share Posted November 5, 2020 The US version of the site was having difficulty displaying the list of cruises - the same cruises were repeated starting at 'page 5 of 17'.
majortom10 Posted November 5, 2020 #30 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Very expensive IMO obviously Cunard are hoping that people will be that desperate to cruise with them that they will be prepared to pay any price.

I thought that too. Some are better value than others. But with FCC to use and having Mary withdrawal symptoms, I'll book regardless.
Rare Windsurfboy Posted November 5, 2020 #32 Share Posted November 5, 2020 I was looking at Mediterranean out of Southampton, the 14 day ones look reasonable value only 10% up on 2020 , but the 19 day ones are much more expensive per day.
CateW Posted November 6, 2020 #33 Share Posted November 6, 2020 The 28 night Grand Med round trip New York looks wonderful. I've never seen anything like that from New York before in summer!

FennoExpress Posted November 6, 2020 #43 Share Posted November 6, 2020 I could swear that earlier this week I saw two of the 2022 Mediterranean cruises offered as split itineraries V224A/B and M221A/B. But now when I do a search on the Cunard website they are only availabe as 14nt and 19nt voyages. That would be a shame as we are looking to transfer our deposit from 2021 to 2022 and a Cunard Med voyage would be great, but 10nts is absolute maximum duration for us. I was getting the same message when attempting to get information through the Cunard site. I checked with two friends, also Canadians, who received the same e-mail and they can't get any information. I wouldn't be booking a voyage on the first date anyway, but it's nice to make some preliminary plans.
bluemarble Posted November 6, 2020 #47 Share Posted November 6, 2020 One addition to the new QE 2022 itineraries I posted above. I believe previous schedules had QE doing two 9-night round trip voyages from Tokyo during May 17-Jun 04. Now she is scheduled to do a repositioning cruise from Tokyo to Vancouver during those dates as follows to begin her 2022 Alaska season. QE May 17-Jun 04: Tokyo, Hakodate, Aomori, Otaru, Seward, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan, Victoria, Vancouver.

naturelovergirl Posted November 7, 2020 #49 Share Posted November 7, 2020 I must admit that I was a bit sad about the fact that QE is not going to Alaska in August of 2022. Our 2020 Alaskan cruise on Cunard (which was of course cancelled) was "supposed" to be in August... but, as we all know, that was not meant to be. We had hoped that we could recreate those plans on Cunard in 2022... but Cunard will only be there in June and July- times where we are very busy work wise. August is our time to cruise. So... we will just plan something else for August 2022... either pick another cruise line to Alaska or maybe choose a different Cunard voyage... who knows! Here's to dreaming! Aspidestra99 Posted November 7, 2020 #50 Share Posted November 7, 2020 When searching for 2022 TA crossings embarking from Southampton there are hardly any as most QM2 TAs embark from Hamburg. Does this mean you can't book from Southampton? If you can embark from Southampton is the price fixed for a Hamburg start/finish. Most importantly I really don't want to have to travel to Hamburg.
