Yep.....no B2B for me.

I already requested the cash for Leg 2....which would have only generated $300 OBC.

Not too sure about Leg 1 (6 days).  I want to find out if the FCC I have applied to it is still good, or if expired.  And, not too sure I want to book into 2022.

hmmm....my 8 day  on the magic in april is cancelled but no 8 days to book until nov / 21....UGH

“They” are saying 8 days will be switched to 7 days, and you’ll get a refund for the day. Plus $100 OBC. #RumorHasIt

Who is "they".  But isn't that what "they" did with some other sailings?

So far "they've" been consistent with OBC and FCC.

Different bloggers, travel agents, etc. That is at least what I’ve read on social media. YMMV

I emailed my pvp this at around 7 a.m. about pushing my 3/21/21  Magic cruise to January 2022 on Freedom.  I had asked her if I would still get my $600 obc from my other 2 cancelled cruises if I initiated a cancellation as I was sure my 3/21 cruise would be cancelled due to covid, OR  should I wait until Carnival cancels our Magic cruise. I just got a cancellation notice from Carnival.  Well, CCL made that decision easy - lol.

I personally would avoid all 6 and 8 day cruises next year. If they change the 8's to 7's are they really going to sit there for a day? Are they going to give those booked on 6 days a 7th day for free? Or are they going to cancel all 6's and 8's and schedule all 7's? I don't want to be booked on one of those when we find out.

Just got this email today about our 8 day cruise on Horizon next year.

We are also booked on the 17 day Freedom reposition to Seattle in April. I would bet the farm on that one being cancelled but have not heard a peep about it yet.

I think this is really good news. They are addressing all of the cdc requirements and getting it all in order and letting the customer know.

Double edged sword... we know Horizon will start up sooner rather than later, but Horizon only sails 6 and 8 day itineraries.
You gotta do what you gotta do to sail. 😂

Oh....I'm sure your 6 day is going to be just fine. I was talking about non-horizon 6 days.

So the original Breeze passengers who got bumped because of another ship's retrofit delays to the Magic get screwed again (not that I had a lot of hope for anything running in April).....

Frustrated, think it's time to get the money back...

I resemble that sentence - lol!  Breeze to Magic and now just booked Freedom for January 2022 .  My pvp rolled everything over, plus I am getting an extra $200 for hot streak casino promo.  Only 410 days to go!

We're in the same boat. Unfortunately our cruise was paid with carnival gifts cards through AARP, so carnival already has our money if we did a refund. We'll reschedule again for next fall 21 or spring 22.

No extra "down payment"?

Zero.   She did check to see if I needed another deposit, but I did not. I will have to re-apply for the stockholder credit, and will need to re-buy my water, internet package and bottomless bubbles.  For some reason those did not roll-over (will get the cost back to my credit card) to Freedom even though it DID roll-over from Breeze to Magic.  Why it is not rolling over from Magic to Freedom I do not know.

Yeah...I just got off the phone with Carnival.  If I book another cruise they will apply my deposit plus the FCC to the new cruise...no additional money needed.

I wanted to go for the cash....but DH thought it was stupid to lose the $600 OBC.

My next chore...call back Carnival with the date and cabin number.

And now I'm being smart...doing it directly instead of entanglement with a TA!
