Half covered balconies available on Royal Princess?

We have not cruised on this class of ship and we are wondering if there are any balcony cabins that are half covered, half open? We always book the
Caribe deck on the Grand class ships but are not sure about the Royal.

Thanks!

The Royal does not have the "wedding cake" design that Grand class ships have, so the cabins on the Caribe deck are covered just like the balcony cabins above and below it.

Cabins facing forward and cabins facing aft may have partially covered balconies.

Royal class balconies should be called "French Balcony"

I've yet to sail on a Royal Class ship but I've seen pictures of the balconies and read reviews of them as well and I think you've nailed it. Someday I'm sure we will sail on one of the newer ships but things have gotten so darn bizarre I have no idea when that will be.
