I forget - Where is door to laundry room on large ships - port or starboard?

To which specific ship do you refer? On which deck are you interested in on that specific ship?

Port I believe

Deck 9 you can access from either side  it is in a passageway

One thing to bear in mind. The self serve laundries will probably not be open for the first few months of sailing, until the procedures for post vaccine life get lined out.

As an aside I hate the search feature here, I was looking for a post I made 4 or 5 years ago about where the doors are on each deck, but I can't find it anywhere.

I agree  it may be months  before  they are open again

I hate that  when you know you had the answer or info & cannot find it  here  :classic_biggrin:

Hope you are  both doing well?

  Maybe try:

Scroll to top  click on your  cc name

In drop down  scroll to "see my Activity"

Click on it

On the lft side of the page click on posts

or if you started a topic with your post clisk topics

Good hunting!  🙂

Thanks for the tip, but I did that already, it goes back 63 pages, not far enough. I put the search parameters to go back to 2015, but it won't go back that far.

Opens on even side. On R ships, since there is only one laundry room on deck 7, it can get crowded. Avoid cabins directly across from the laundry. I have seen line waiting to use machines. On O ships, there are 4 laundry rooms.  It is usually not crowded.

Actually there's 5, on decks 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11.

Thanks for the mention  that the self-service laundry rooms may not be open.  I hadn't thought of that, but it IS, after all, a pretty small room, so not a good place to have a lot of people congregating or even going in and out.  I was just asking because we made a deposit on a B4 cabin on n O ship, cabin number not specified.  We're usually fine with just about any cabin we get, but if I later have any choice, I'd prefer not to be across from the laundry in case the closing doors get mildly annoying.  But who knows what late summer will bring.

I believe the laundry room hours are limited to 7 am to 10 pm but I did not attempt to check my recollection.

Hi  @ORV
Well after some searching this maybe  the Post you
were looking for? - I like puzzles!  🙂

I would have found it  lot quicker but kept reading the threads

that looked interesting. Only cruised Oceania once before but

looking to get to Manaus  end 2021 or early  22  but  at the moment

the situation regarding private excursions is putting us off.

https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2195144-ramblings-from-riviera/page/2/

Also should you wish to reminisce here are all the old threads
from the Oceania general page

https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/forum/29-oceania-cruises/page/208/

This is a 2015 page but you can move backward or forward
from there.

Yes, thank you, that's exactly what I was talking about. Maybe you could tell me how you did that.

I was on a long cruise later on Marina and was going to call it Mumblings From Marina, but seeing how Ramblings From Riviera worked out I decided to pass.
