Just curious...do they used filtered water for the ice cubes (or maybe bagged ice)?  Do you just use bottled water to brush your teeth?  Thanks and I love reading your reviews!

Filtered water for the ice. I just brush my teeth normal. I drink bottled water. Pretty the same as I would at home or on the ship.

Roberto says he thinks catch is open tonight not Braza. Weird. I’m pretty sure Braza was closed last night which means it should be open tonight. Braza Or catch whichever Is open is where i’m going tonight and I’ll go to the other tomorrow.

Thoughts on Indian food? With all of the food reviews I’ve read on this place the Indian place rarely gets mentioned. If it does it’s “It was okay. It was pretty good. No complaints.” It’s never mentioned as a place you must eat at.

I have never had Indian food myself. I have been on Carnival Ships that had Tandoor. But I didn’t know what to eat. I didn’t recognize anything other than the bread.

I don’t know if I told this story or not. If I did it was probably 3 years ago. My memory of that bread was from a time when I had to spend a 12 hour day as an escort for a Syrian truck driver. He didn’t know English. I didn’t know Arabic. There were no meals in that 12 hours. He did stop at a gas station early in the trip and he came out with...this bread. Like a flatbread but just the bread. Not wrapped in anything and he just threw this bread up on the dash board. To my disgust he ripped piece of bread off with his bare hands, opened a container of plain yogurt, and proceeded to dip the bread in yogurt and eat it. He rips off another piece of bread and offers it to me. I decline.

I didn’t use the bathroom for 12 hours either. He did. As I watched him through the side mirror I thought he was inspecting one of his rear tires when he squatted down beside it...then I saw the puddle growing beneath him.

Alright that was a bit of a tangent but yeah. I didn’t want the bread. I have a bad association with the bread. And I didn’t recognize anything else.

I don’t do Indian food myself, and I haven’t seen raving reviews for it either. Stick with Catch or Braza.

Yeah it’s not in contention for the next couple nights I’m just thinking after that when it comes down to trying Sutra once or repeating East, La Cocina, or Braza...it’s going to be tough. I’d like to try everything but I’d hate to waste a dinner.

If you like heat, you'll get some with Indian food!  Chicken Vindaloo, Aloo gobi (cauliflower, potatoes & peas), Rogan josh (lamb or goat curried dish) are awesome dishes!  Enjoying your review!!
