Odyssey of the Seas to Port Everglades - Inaugural Voyage July 11th

Recommended Posts

To be announced next week!  6/8 night Cruise Vacations out of Port Everglades.

Travel agents - you can see the 6 night itineraries loaded onto CP. 8 nights aren’t being marketed as we await modification to the CSO next week to allow cruises longer than 7 nights.

Good to know, so it looks like the Oasis will be the only large ship that will be going out of Bayonne after all. That said, when the official word from the Port Authority is released.

Freedom was also scheduled to sail out of cape liberty. Hopefully this week royal will make their official announcement on restart.

With Royal making that announcement it points to them all making progress on the "executive order" situation.

That's the hope, if not most of this excitement is for nothing.

Discussed in this thread:

https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2780649-odyssey-re-deploying-due-to-middle-east-conflict/?do=findComment&comment=61139104

Screenshots of the six night cruises from the TA system in the above thread.  Eight night cruises were missing presumably due to the CDC gag order preventing cruise lines from marketing anything longer than 7 nights.

Since the screenshots were posted last Wednesday there are rumors the 7 night limit will be removed so maybe the 8 night cruises will appear soon.

Odyssey currently sitting off the coast of Spain with 5 COVID cases onboard.

Depending on how they handle this, we’ll see about a July 3rd sailing.

Nada chance, hope no one booked.

Based on this one can surmise they were newly picked up crew members who were in standard pre-cruise quarantine anyway.  RC claims there are only 2, not 5.

This should be an absolute non-story

RCL also claimed their crew was vaccinated when closing in on their Israel season, even though the crew claimed they weren’t vaccinated.
