Visiting the port of Corfu today with HAL Twins Volendam and Zaandam sitting idle in a beautiful scenery.

Oh how I miss HAL ships.  Thanks for the pick me up.    We’ve been on the Zaandam & hope to be on the Volendam this Fall.

The lovely Volendam is just waiting for those of us who have already booked the trans-Atlantic from Barcelona to FLL in November.  We can't wait to see her in only 156 days (but who's counting?)!

Do you know if the crew are permitted to go ashore?

No I don‘t think so. Have not seen a single soul on their part of the pier the whole day. 
 

Ar least today they‘re not lonely as AIDAblu and Mein Schiff 5 are with them to give some company.

The Zaandam is special, it was my first stay in a Neptune, enclosed balconies are so much nicer!

OMG, didn't realize that was such a long pier!  I was just thinking how two other ships would be able to join them, now I know.

Yes, it is a very long pier.  Bicycle rickshaws are available to bring you to the terminal building.
