Booked cruise only rate, move up offer to suites include drinks?

So I got a comped AQ on Edge that departs in a couple of weeks. The room is a cruise only, so I’ll need to buy a premium drink package and will have tips added to my daily folio. I know suites include premium drinks, tips, internet and some OBC. Does anyone know if the perks are included if I have an accepted move up offer to a suite? It’s helping me to frame what my move up bid.

In addition, do I need to be prepared to pay for access to the thermal suite if I move from AQ to a suite?

thanks!

I'm pretty sure the thermal suite would not be included.   It's an amenity of the AQ stateroom, not a perk so it's not retained.  With move up you get stateroom amenities of the new category but retain perks of what you booked.

You would move into the retreat where drinks are free but you would not be able to order drinks in other bars without paying by the drink.

Are you sure?  On our Edge cruise early on (Jan 2019) we were asked to show our Sea Pass Card in the Retreat at the bar on the sundeck.  They scanned it every time we ordered a drink.  No charge to us as we had the Premium package included.  But possibly a charge for suite guests without a drink package.

We sailed in a suite without the beverage package, OBC, tips OR WI-fi.  We could get drinks  in Michaels/Retreat Lounge but not in Luminae or the other venues.
This was on a ship with no Retreat Sundeck but I doubt that drinks would have been included since they were not included at Luminae.

We were told it was to monitor the amount of drinks being served for bookkeeping purposes.
