E-mailing the shareholder form in a PDF file

When I e-mail my shareholder form in, can it be in a PDF file? Or do I need to reformate it to a different type of file (such as a jpeg or word, etc.) in order for the Princess staff to be able to open it and read it?

Those of you cruisers that have e-mailed proof of shares and shareholder forms in, what format(s) did you use?

Thanks

Sent mine in as a PDF.  But it was at the start of the long weekend, July 2.  Waiting....waiting...waiting/check....waiting...waiting

Do we still have to use the form and if so, one form for each of our booked cruises?  Or can we list all required information for each booking on one page in PDF?

Thanks,

Jean & Ed

Many people have stated that they did not use the form.  Just supply all info that the form requests in an email.  Or, just email a copy of your cruise confirmation along with the shareholder report.  Don't forget to redact any/all info from the stock report not associated with CCL!

It’s your choice…all of the required info without a form or using the form which includes the procedure if uncertain about the request.

We are shareholders and will be cruising Oct 4th for the first time as shareholders. What do we need to do to let them know? I booked directly with Princess. What form are you talking about?

Here is the request form that describes the procedure & can be used to submit a request. In addition to faxing or mailing requests, emailing is now an option.

E-mailed my shareholder form(s) in this morning, went to breakfast with a friend and by the time I got home my shareholder OBC was credited to all 3 of my upcoming cruises. WOW, happy happy. 😃

Exactly same!!  I was waiting to grab my end of June investment statement from online banking.  Printed off the two pages needed, used black-out pen here and there, scanned it back to a new PDF and sent email this morning.  Already posted to all four bookings!  Now that is the kind of efficient and accurate service I'd like to see with the MC App and DineMyWay.  (Wishful thinking, I know).

I emailed my request in a week or so ago.  Email contained info for our next 5 cruises, date, booking number, name of cruise and cruise number.   Took a photo of the last statement.   Did not use the form.
Emailed on Sunday evening and all credits showed on my account by 10am Monday.

Great service.

Off topic question.  The form states the shareholder credit cannot be used for the crew gratuities.   Can it be used for pre-cruise online purchases (i.e. Wi-Fi, Coffee Card, etc.)?

It can be used for crew gratuities.  The restriction is for casino credits/charges and gratuities.

SOBC is a credit that is added to your onboard folio from which any debits are deducted. Pre-cruise it can only be used to purchase shore excursions.
