On board and ready to get this vacation started.

things Of note so far:

1) We had a 10:30 arrival time—line was long outside. All guests were in the same line—no priority until September. The line was moving into the terminal by about 10:15. For where we were in line (all the way back to the people who got OFF the ship), things moved quickly. They didn’t inspect any wine/sodas we brought—went through the scanner in a bag and they never even opened the bag. No alcohol inspection table. I guess they have other protocols to worry about. Once inside and done at the desk, sat down briefly. Suite guests do have a special line inside. No platinum/diamond lounge. Suite guests were also the first group to board, then A1 zone. About 1 minute after they called A1, they called A1-A5, and we were on our way. We were on the ship by 11:00.

2) No one was allowed in rooms until 1:30, but I did notice a sign by the show theater that said “suite meeting location.” I’m guessing maybe they were escorted to their rooms early.

3) the new muster drill is GREAT! They started announcing you could go to the location and see the life jacket demo. We went at about 12:30 or do, about 7 people there. Quick and on our way. I noticed on the video in the stateroom it said watching the video would activate your Sail and Sign cards. That will encourage people to have it on the tv at least!

3) dinner menu looks pretty much the same. Only today’s menu is available in the app, none yet for the rest of the week. 🥴

4) we did see a large family group that was “detained” outside because they were there before their arrival time.

5) New colors on windows, beds, and shower curtains! Maybe they’ve always been this way on the ship—we’d sailed before in Havana cabins, so not sure about standard cabins.

We are on board too.  I have Cheers and have a couple of 86 cent charges already.  Lol.  First drink was a Mojito from the Havana bar.  Love it.

Lol if you dont start drinking now you wouldnt have time to hit 15. Enjoy. I want to try a mojito.

I am a lightweight.  So far today three Mojitos and one Miami Vice for sail away.  But have enjoyed a cappuccino, a Mountain Dew and brought back a bottle of water for the room.  Found a sweet server at the Havana area.  All of the crew have been amazing.
