Thank you all for the well wishes and bon-voyages! Happy to report both our covid tests came back negative. Getting those back is a major relief. We were definitely a bit worried about having the results in time. Backup appointments cancelled and results are printed - my document folder is now complete! Now we just have to get our clothes together and I think we will be good to go. Looks like Saturday will be a beautiful day for departing. Can't wait to be onboard and share our trip with everyone.

A couple days before the restart I took a harbor cruise with Argosy Cruises and got to see Elliott Bay filled with 5 cruise ships, plus one out of the bay in West Seattle. It is an hour tour and I got an early at our cabin 8162. This will be our first time in an aft wrap which I think will be great for viewing Glacier Bay. We made the mistake of trying a Neptune Suite about 6 cruises ago an have never been able to go back. Usually we prefer to be closer to the Neptune lounge but will give the aft a try

Thank you for sharing your photos and story and we look forward to the rest of your cruise . We will be doing it on the September 18th . We had a similar fully covered aft wrap and have included a video so that you can see what it looks like inside . We hope that you will have a great cruise and some great sunsets from your balcony . 🙂 😊

Thank you so much! The room looks a tiny bit smaller and the couch is definitely smaller, but I think the balcony more than makes up for it. Besides with the new TV system they put in a few years ago you can’t really use the couch to watch TV anyway so it’s really just for sitting. Balcony looks gigantic!

We're so excited for you and hope that you have a great cruise ! We noticed that you are under the Lido deck and we are curious if it is noisy . We had a NS on the Zaandam to Antarctica under the Lido kitchen and could hear the dishwasher carts rolling late into the early morning(2:00am+). We hope that it will be quiet where you are.

We are all packed and ready to go. 5 Suitcases and 3 carry ons. Not quite sure how we came up with so much stuff but at least there is a lot of closet space. To be fair one suitcase is entirely filled with jackets and sweaters as the weather is cold. Will be leaving for the pier in about 15 minutes.

Starting around midnight the Navigator app became fully functional. Reservations could be booked this morning for all dining venues including Pinnacle lunch - available on both sea days and on Tuesday in Glacier Bay. No lunch in the Pinnacle on any other port days.

Here are a few screenshots from the app. Some features require ship's wifi but the functionality greatly increased as of this morning.

Today's activities as shown in Navigator. Nice feature you can actually see activities for the entire cruise and not just the same day. Really helps a lot with planning for future days rather than needing to wait for the program to be delivered the night before.

Oh and I am also happy to report my dining reservations which didn't show at all in the app before are now all showing under My Itinerary.

Thank you SO much, this is really helpful. I wasn't sure if I was having troubles with the Navigator or if it was just that we don't sail until next Saturday! Very happy to hear yours started working day-of, and also happy to hear about being able to book the Pinnacle lunch, may be a nice choice for Glacier Bay. Once you're onboard (bon voyage!!!), would you let us know if you find out anything about ordering on the app from Dive Inn or NY Pizza? And IF you happen to schedule any spa treatments, could you let us know, do the spa attendants stay masked during the treatments?

Thank you again, and happy sailing!
