Yes as I believe I posted earlier I reached out to Celebrity and they were able to help me.  But thank you for your post.

 

Doesn't matter now that D&M is discontinued.

If you are booked in a suite with always included and the premium drinks you will get your mini fridge replenished no charge, or at least we did on the Equinox in August in a Sky Suite. The first day our Butler asked us what we wanted in our mini fridge; it was empty when we boarded. We told him no soda and that we were wine premium water drinker, so he kept it stocked with the 1/2 bottles of Kendal Jackson cabernet and chardonnay along with some kind bars at no charge. He also supplied us with an unending supply of bottles of Evain water. He told us this was all included in a suite with the premium drinks package. BTW the complimentary Celebrity aluminum cans of water tasted awful, they had a distinct metallic taste.

We’re on board and in an AQ stateroom. We asked the Stateroom Attendant to stock the Minifridge with Diet Coke and Rum. She told us that she can’t do that because we don’t have the “beverage package”. We’re Premium with D&M. Has anyone successfully asked for specific items in your fridge? We did some months ago without any issue.

So you signed up for drinks & more and your cabin attendant is telling you that you don't have drinks & more???

Yes. Two rooms both family. She told us that we will be charged blah blah. She talked to her supervisor and came back and same story. I went to Guest Relations and explain the issue. I’ve been told they will speak to the Manager and have it resolved and they took my soda and Run request. I shall report back, if for any other reason if you guys experience same it may be good info in the future. Well it’s going away anyway so in the meantime it will. This is far too

much time and energy to spend on a minifridge tbh.

Bummer they won't (normally) let you make changes.

I already have Drinks & More (upgraded from premium before it was discontinued) for my upcoming Summit cruise.  This morning, I received an email from Celebrity, encouraging me to upgrade to Drinks & More from Premium.  Of course, when I click the link, it's nowhere to be found.  Celebrity IT at its finest!  🙂

This is a new revenue plan.  Everyone does things twice, and X gets twice as much money.

I don't know the answer but reading this forum i thought it was mostly vodka.

 

Maybe the rum and scotch drinkers could band together and get X to be more flexible if they come up with a new program.

 

Or we could just boycott.  That will show them!

So here’s what transpired. The room attendant came back and again told us her supervisor said minibar is never included and is an extra charge. So finally seeing any more discussion was an exercise in insanity, I went down to Guest Services. Luckily got a very well informed agent who completely understood my dilemma and called the Beverage and Housekeeping Managers both. After some conversations she gave me her card and told me to ask for her personally if we continued ti have issues. 

 

Later that night we had Diet Coke stocked and the Attendant apologized and told us she was only following her supervisors orders. We were never able to get Rum. It was requested three times. We got Tito’s and our special request was Diet Coke. In June out of SXM on the return inaugural we were on Millie and had rum, vodka, and Gin nips and Diet Sprite Diet Tonic and Lemon Fliavored Vitamin waters all by request in our sky suite- all by the D&M package added to Sky Suite. I’ll tell you that this was our third sailing and fourth week on Millie since June, and I’ll be honest and tell you there were times I was wondering if there was a red and blue tail smoke stack on top. It was a tale of two cities this cruise. Big downhill slide since June.  1600+ passengers on board over TGiving. 

 

Of note as well, upon arrival to the cabin in the mini fridge there was one beer, one Tito’s, one Reg Coke can, one pringles, no Kind Bars and one wine. Pretty sad. When she did restock it after first day we received one Tito’s and one Diet Coke. I again called Guest Services and asked them to please have the fridge restocked the right way. I had no issues after that. Appropriate quantities. 

 

Long and short of it all is just be aware depending on who your room attendant is, or in my case their supervisor is, you may need to fight for what’s due to you. 

 

We won 100+$ on our two 50$ slot play allowances so, yeah D&M despite some negotiations, was a win!

We're on Solstice in April 2023 in a Sky Suite and Drinks and More package is available in Cruise Planner for $9/day but isn't available for our April 2022 APEX TA....also in a SS. Go figure.....

When I tried to put it in the "Cart" I got the following error message              "Unable To Add Item To Your Cart   There was an issue with adding the item to your shopping cart. Please contact Customer Support if you continue to experience this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience."

That is what it seems everyone sees now when trying to purchase it.  A call to X confirmed it was being discontinued.

My cruise planner is offering me an upgrade from the premium beverage package to the "Drinks & More" package. Unfortunately, its not actually available. I called customer service yesterday to upgrade, and they said it's been discontinued. I complained about it being offered and requested they bring it back. The agent I spoke with said they've gotten a lot of calls requesting it be brought back, and they're submitting tickets to bring it back. So, if $50 of casino credit, 2 bottles of wine, a wine tasting event, and free mini bar sounds like something you'd purchase, call and request it. Maybe if enough people ask for it, they'll bring it back.

Hi Liz.  I would be interested but they don't allow any changes to what you get.  I think it's all vodka and gin.  Not interested.  My cabin is near the Sunset Bar so I'll just go there.

We tried it and won’t do it again.  The 2 bottles of wine were terrible, wine tasting very crowded, no substitutions to the mini bar items.
