Thank you. That title is river cruise roll calls.  That’s what I needed. I kept looking for American cruise line.

Remember that American Cruise Line and American Queen Steamboat Company are two completely separate lines.

Great!  Which cruise?

From NOLA to Memphis on Nov. 14-22 on the Queen. I used the website and what a great promo, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have. I felt the original price was overpriced for a U.S. cruise. Flights were a good price to. I became my own travel agent…😂😂😂

A US river cruise will often cost more than a European river cruise. American Queen Steamboat Company, American Cruise Lines, and even Viking Cruise Lines for their US river cruises use US flag ships and US crews working under US labor laws. These are more expensive than the laws in most other places.

This is the reason that an Alaska cruise on American Cruise Lines (US flag) is more expensive than one on Victory Cruise Lines (foreign flag subsidiary of American Queen Steamboat Company).

I’m well aware of that fact

Are there roll calls for American Queen Steamboat ships?  I don’t seem to be seeing any like they have for other cruise lines.

This is somewhat confusing.   Under "Roll Calls", American Queen has its own section, so that is where their roll calls should be posted.  The link is for "all other" river cruise roll calls...that is for river cruises that don't have their own roll call section.   Unfortunately, roll calls have been started in both sub-forums, so unless you take time to search in both, you may miss a roll call for your cruise, or there may be duplicate roll calls for the same cruise, and unless you check both, you may miss some relative posts.

I'm not seeing what you're seeing:

Also, the roll call link at the top of the American Queen forum goes to "All Other River Cruise Roll Calls"

My mistake, you are correct...I must have thought I saw a subforum for American Queen under roll calls, but they don't have one.

Now that American Queen has merged with Victory, perhaps they should have their own?

That opens another can of worms.  River cruises and ocean cruises are kept separate on Cruise Critic, and there are several cruise lines that offer both.  My view is that river cruises on all lines are more similar than the river and ocean cruises on any particular line so people are better off coming here to learn from other river cruisers.
