I went to find my Roll Call. Nothing. Typed in the date myself. Nothing.

 

So, just checked under cancelled cruises. It’s not been cancelled.

 

It’s just odd, the Roll Call was there last time I checked (about 5/6 days ago).

Very simple solution.  Take the FCC and OBC and rebook yourselves on a newer ship that is currently sailing from a primary embarkation port.  

It is logical that there is going to be a pecking order to how the ships start up and the Fantasy Class and a few of the others will be at the bottom.  

Did people really think that Jacksonville, Mobile, Charleston,  Tampa etc would have the same importance to the company as Miami, Port Canaveral, and Galveston?

I agree with SNJCruisers. All of these ships are extremely inefficient. They cannot break-even with the number of passengers they are currently boarding (around 70% max). If they hit the 70% mark they may just break even on the smaller ships. There is no reason to even think about that during the slower season. You need to look at the big ports and NOLA as well.

Yep, just saw the email this morning and my February 2022 cruise is cancelled 😔

It was my free casino deal with drinks on us and $200 OBC....Bummer!!! But it's still showing in my cruise manager, I guess I will have to wait until October 2022 for my Mardi Gras Cruise. I'm not re-booking anything else unless it's already sailing.

With 17 ships scheduled to return to service by the end of the year, we are pleased with the progress we are making resuming our guest operations.  However, we will continue to take a phased approach as we bring back the remainder of our U.S.-based fleet in the new year as we staff ships, train our crew on new operating protocols, and work on the many other issues related to the resumption of service.  As a result, we will need some additional time for certain ships, and consequently, your cruise has been cancelled. Rather than all the doom and gloom, let's look on the bright side. 😁  

 

By the middle of February Carnival will have fully 86% of their fleet sailing and all but 2 embarkation ports open.  Think back to late June when Celebrity Edge was the first ship to sail and Carnival was prepping to launch Vista from Galveston and Horizon from Miami.  We've actually come a helluva long way.  We've got post pandemic #3 coming up in about 3 weeks!  See ya'll onboard! 🛳️

Well I already rebooked, took all of 15mins to get everything transferred over, ended up with a Casino rate with drinks on us while in the Casino and $50 OBC from casino, also $300 OBC because of cancelled cruise. It took all of 30 seconds to connect with Carnival, not a bad wait time at all, I chose the prompt for booking a new cruise and they took very good care of me.😁

So funny. I had 2 cruises cancelled on Splendor—casino cruises out of Sydney. I cancelled the first one for a full refund.  
 

I submitted form to reschedule second one with the $600 OBC.  The funny thing?  My husband got the cancellation notice for the same cruise. But his offer was $900. I looked at it twice. How does THAT happen?  
 

Not concerned. Between Carnival and Princess I have to turn down more “free” cruises than I can shake a stick at.

Moved my cruise from Mobile to N.O. The cost of the cruise is less, it is on a nicer ship and I got $300 OBC. Also with the the cruise in NO being less, I go an additional credit of $200. Thanks Carnival! Oh, I will also request my $50 stock credit. Thanks for cancelling Mobile.

It is probably a currency exchange rate. Australia cruises use AUS dollars. Your husbands offer of $900. AUS dollars, but your offer is USD dollars of $600. OBC premium for rebooking. It is almost the same amount. One nice thing about Australia is the gratuities are included in the fare. There is no auto-grats added to your sign and sail account.

New York is no longer bookable on Carnival.com for 2022.  Does anyone know what the current status of New York is for 2022?  My booked cruise out of NYC for Sept 2022 is still in my Cruise Manager but no longer bookable.  I guess I will have to wait for Carnival to announce their plans for NYC so I qualify for OBC if they cancel.  But I do prefer to know now rather than later.

The Vista is no longer bookable out of Galveston from June - October, 2022.  A little concerned as we have 6/4 booked.  It is still in my cruise manager, and excursions are available for booking.  Wonder what's going on!

Rumors of a new ship like mardi gras coming in to replace vista.

 

Though I dont think it will be june 2022. I had no trouble pulling up your june date just now. .. but vista is supposed to be replaced with the new ship, but further out imo.

That's so strange!  I just checked again and its still not showing as available.  Thanks for this, I have 2 grandsons that will be pretty disappointed if the cruise is cancelled.
