We are boarding tomorrow and I want to watch UCLA USC football while still in port and some other games during cruise.  What is best place to watch?

Here's a picture I took of the Double Down Bar on the Majestic Princess back in mid October to Mexico. It's a great place to watch sports, but I just hope they have your game playing on the TV's. We we're watching a NFL game there and they had the same game on every TV. They should be able to show multiple games on the different TV's which would be a lot better.

Just note that there is no guarantee that the game you want will be shown or available to be seen.

And since neither team is ranked it is unlikely to be picked if there is only 1 game on at a time

It depends if Princess has paid for the rights, and if the satellite service Princess uses carries Fox sports.  Just ask at the bar if that game is available. I don't think that the ship docking in L.A. and the teams being local has much to do with it.

Does anyone know if there’s something like this on other Princess ships? Particularly, the Sky Princess?

As I reflect on this further, since the NFL won't be competition, I'm actually quite confident that the game will be shown.  What are they gonna do, show Alabama vs. Arkansas?

If it is 1:00 Pacific time it will be up against a perfect Cincinnati or a one loss Notre Dame.  Plus both Alabama and Arkansas are ranked

I suppose the fact that it is a well known rivalry game between 2 schools that play near Majestic's home port and many of the cruisers are from the area might keep some hope alive that it may be shown.

Nope. Doesn't make any bit of difference. They can't show something they don't have rights to.

It's always hit and miss.  When I was on the Majestic in July, the sports channel in the room was something called "Sports 24", and it had only replays of soccer and rugby games from the previous season, and this was during the Olympics and baseball season.  On other Princess ships, however, they would pick up the odd game; I remember watching a Michigan-Michigan State game on a 2016 cruise aboard the Grand Princess.  And the game being shown on the picture from the Double Down bar was a Washington-UCLA game from earlier this season, which was on Fox Sports.  So who know, maybe you'll get lucky.  But the best bet is to use the ship's terrific internet and stream the USC-UCLA game on the Fox Sports app....

So…since it was brought up, headed out on Sky   On Dec 4th which just happens to be the SEC championship game (Go Dawgs).  Anyone have any incite on if/where this game could be viewed?

Depends if the satellite service Princess uses has the rights to CBS sports. If they do then maybe the casino bar or MUTS. Could be on the cabin TV. Probably the best chance is to stream from the SEC network.

There is a new sports betting bar next to the casino with a wall full of screens.

Walk into the casino and immediately bear to the left. The screens will be on the wall to your right.

Do you know if that exists on the sky as well?  Boarding the sky this morning, and there are a couple games I want to be able to watch, including the Michigan State versus Ohio State game.
