I agree.  What a fun thing to do - brings back our inner childhood when we did those activities 😁. I am not crafty so I am sure mine would look not so good 😂

They judged them and put them in the atrium on display. I will get a picture tomorrow - there was a Mexican band playing tonight and I couldn't get a good picture. I agree - it was fun!

The snowman building activity looks like so much fun.  Thank you for the great pictures.  Did you, by any chance, sit with our friends Janice and Fernando at the MT luncheon?

I did not. I did sit next to two lovely couples though. The food for that meal was the best of the entire cruise so far. It is weird - the officers are all there in the beginning and you can get your photo with the Captain but they leave shortly after everyone has been seated. I know they are doing this to keep the officers healthy and safe.

Princess Patter for Christmas. It turns out tomorrow is formal night - it wasn't listed as formal night on the first day. Santa is going to arrive at 10:30 tomorrow on Lido deck. This is always fun. On my past cruises - he passes out gifts in the atrium but due to COVID - it will be outside.IMG_1248.thumb.jpeg.a792e83af4857c1a7c3253e2fac530a1.jpegIMG_1247.thumb.jpeg.cf9c6077a5ed199c6362fb025093e590.jpeg

His name is Smit and goes by Smit or Smitty. Super nice guy. Our wait staff is Mark and Jeff. Great team! I am just slight aft of Club Class mini suites on Deck 9.

We seem to be hanging out at One5 and like Desmond for a bartender.

The staff have been amazing on this sailing.

Smit is awesome. We actually went on the Grand to Mexico amd picked a cabin in his section so we could see him.

I have to agree with you. Such a kind man - I have enjoyed getting to know him. He definitely is one of the best.

I got really sick with a virus on our Majestic Princess cruise that I am convinced I picked up at the MTG luncheon (first symptoms showed up about 36 hours later). It was the only time I was around others without a mask on. It wasn’t COVID, but it doesn’t have to be to make you pretty miserable. Three weeks later I ended up in the hospital with it. I don’t blame the officers at all for not joining passengers.

Coral. Thanks for sharing. Hope you are getting to relax. Happy holidays.

Yes - it has been a great cruise! I have no clue when I will ever have a chance to sail on a large ship with 400 people. It is great to get to know fellow cruisers and see them all the time. Everyone has been friendly and polite on this trip. Great group of cruisers to cruise with.

But on the slots if you play with cash the profits are put on your casino account and must be cashed out at the cashier

Yes. Cash or room charge cash outs are on your casino account.

I am so sorry to hear this. I was surprised they put us at tables of 8 at the MTG. I didn't know what to expect. So far - I have seen those I have dined with at other events and we all seem healthy (thankfully).

So far, I haven't heard of anyone on sick on this sailing. I hope it stays that way. This group on the ship has been very good at following mask wearing rules.

I guess we will see if Cabo lets us into port tomorrow!

One of my tours is at risk of being cancelled on the 2nd day in Cabo. They were going to try to combine 2 tours that were sort of similar into one.

I love the Gingerbread souffle.  My favorite Princess dessert.  Enjoy your Christmas dinner.

So I ordered the Gingerbread soufflé and it tasted like vanilla and looked like vanilla. I told them it wasn't Gingerbread and they pointed to the menu and said it was Gingerbread. It was weird. Now the vanilla soufflé I had tasted good but there was no way it was gingerbread. They did give us gingerbread cookies which did taste like gingerbread. There have been quite a few soufflés this week on the menus. Tonight was a new one that I have never heard of.
