cccole Posted February 3, 2022 #32 Share Posted February 3, 2022 (edited) Bon voyage. Watching you leave San Diego. A beautiful night for a sail-away, the San Diego skyline is awesome. But it doesn't look like you are moving, possibly waiting for the escort? Cherie Edited February 3, 2022 by cccole

DAllenTCY Posted February 3, 2022 #39 Share Posted February 3, 2022 The last 30 or so pallets were of bottled water, canned sodas, wine, liquor, and beer! Did you want to leave without them? David 1 1

Rare Newly Retired Teachers Posted February 3, 2022 Author #42 Share Posted February 3, 2022 Good Morning, We woke up to a beautiful view of Catalina Island, calm and clear. As we expected, a notice was delivered announcing that everyone will be periodically tested during this cruise. We were given an appointment to have a rapid antigen test on Feb. 5 in the dining room. Instructions state that passengers are to return to their cabins and stay there for 30 minutes post testing. Medical Center would call and conduct a rapid PCR test if the antigen test is positive. If no contact is made during the 30 minute waiting period, then "assume the test results are negative." The Front Desk told us there are about 1470 passengers on board our cruise. Nothing seems crowded so far. It doesn't seem that there will be any large production shows for entertainment this cruise. Only a dance company is mentioned for the World Stage. Again, very glad to be back on board a ship again! Bob 5

Feels like half that amount. Practically had a private performance by the Billboard rock band last night.

Everyone in our group, and the 3 groups before us, all tested negative. Then we were allowed to complete the check-in process and board the ship. 3
jjg082846 Posted February 3, 2022 #50 Share Posted February 3, 2022 Sorry we’re not with everyone now, we did back out in December and luckily rebooked for next January. Maggie and I were born to cruise so we are a bit jealous of your trip. Any idea how many passengers on board? Have a safe and wonderful time, drink a Bloody Mary for breakfast, take a short snooze in the afternoon and party at night like you would if you were a teenager. Life is short and to lose two years of cruising at our age is disappointing. I’ll stay tuned to your live discussions and smile as if I were with you. 4
