First time in suite…

We were in a suite on Regal in February. First night dinner was comped in either Sabatini's or Crown Grill. Nice perk. I agree about the suite breakfast. It is a great way to begin the day. There was a Suite/Platinum and Elite lounge each night. Service was so poor we left. Two waiters for the entire room. You paid for your own drinks. This is not RCCL. We sailed many times on their ships and enjoyed their lounge.

In Sabatini's they check your stateroom number when you first enter for breakfast. No pax from non suites were allowed in.

The Sabatini's breakfast is Suites only, I presume just like Concierge?  Need to prep the folks on when they can and can't join us!  😉

Correct. You CAN invite them to breakfast/lunch/dinner in your suite for balcony dining, though. Use the extended room service menu to order.

Suite laundry needs to be turned in by 9 AM to be returned after dinner; same day.

Suite breakfast is not served on embarkation AND disembarkation day.  Unfortunately, that means you will only have 2 days.  Enjoy it!

Fresh squeezed orange juice/mimosas

Specialty coffees (lattes, espressos, etc)

Great service

Quiet

Do not be shy, ask within reason

We had suite breakfast on disembarkation day

We did not have an escort on of off Regal in February. Did not need one boarding as we arrived at 1:30 and we sailed right through all areas. Debarking was easy. We were allowed to leave at our leisure as suite guests. Hate to say I did not want to leave!

We had a nice Sabatini breakfast on debarkment and were able to walk off as we were already on that deck.

Interesting change for customs and immigration. No form listing purchases required and they use facial recognition from your passport instead of a passport.

Correct. Full suite guests only.

Club Class mini-suites do not have access to Concierge lounge, specialty breakfast, first night specialty dining, Thermal Suite, etc

You guys can dine together in Club Class section of dining room

The concierge lounge has wine (2-3 choices) available for an hour or two in the evenings..

Full suite guests can also access the Elite/Platinum/Suite event in the evenings, held in a specific lounge, with discounted drinks and a changing menu of appetizers (shrimp cocktail, steak tartare, wheel of stilton, etc).  This is not a perk for mini-suite guests (unless of course they're Platinum or Elite).

Mini-suites are a misnomer, to say the least..  they're just larger balcony rooms - they don't have any extra perks beyond a glass of sparkling wine at embarkation. Club Class minis ads the 2 half bottles of wine, an upgraded robe in cabin and access to Club Class dining..

Safe travels

We had the same issue for our Sky Princess cruise in June this year. We had already booked in the window suite before MIL decided to join us. I explained to them that unless they booked a suite they wouldn’t have any meals with us onboard so they went for a vista suite in the end so everyone’s happy.

On a 4 night cruise last year we didn’t get the complementary meal the first night as were told it’s only available on cruises of 5 nights or more

Full suite passengers have priority over Elites when it comes to having laundry done, so it is possible for full suite passengers to get laundry back in a day.

About to use our laundry benefit for the first time .  About how much does the bag hold?   Used this perk on NCL and their bag holds about 3 full days of clothes from two people.  Is Princess similar? Thanks much!

I'll add that the suite breakfast, usually in Sabatini's, is IMHO by far the most enjoyable of suite perks.  We ordinarily wouldn't go to the MDR for breakfast on a daily basis - but we NEVER miss the suite breakfast.  They will prepare anything within reason assuming the ingredients are available.  Omelette with avocado and jack cheese is my favorite.

As for priority boarding, pre-covid this was hit or miss, for our one post-covid cruise it didn't matter, they had boarded the entire lounge by the time we got to the ship . . . at 12 noon.

.

I’m going to ask for avocado toast as much as I can!!!

Depends on what you toss in from those 3 days.

We reuse our shirts for at least a day or 2. The timing varies depending on if we make a mess while eating (frequent) or sweat a lot (rare).

Undies, socks - go in the bag

Pants rarely - unless we make that mealtime mess.

With those as a starting point, usually 3 days could fit. However, we'll usually send the things we've tossed in every 2 days more or less. That way our clothes are constantly rotating.

BTW: don't put anything in the bag that you'd be sorry to lose. Some report lost clothing, torn clothing, etc. It's never happened to us, but it could.

Thank you!  Very helpful to plan and pack.  I've heard to be cautious about what you send, so nothing that would be hard or sad to lose, just in case.

We used the laundry when we joined the ship in Vancouver after a ten day trip through national parks in Wyoming, Montana and Alberta.   We had a lot of laundry, 2 or 3 bags.  It all was back the next day.  After reading posts here, we now take pictures of the clothes before we bag them.

Sounds like a great trip you wen on.  Thanks for the tip about taking photos before bagging your laundry.

Dinner in the club class dining area with full suite passengers. Breakfast in club class but not the full suite breakfast area. Lunch in club class on sea days only

Bag size does not matter as you can send multiple bags in at the same time. Just ask your cabin steward for extra bags.

Club Class mini-suites have dining in the Club Class section of the MDR any time it's open. Dinner every night, lunch on sea days, breakfast every day

Another question about laundry -  I know it is a perk for Elites also, it is limited to only one page as an Elite perk?

Elites are not limited in how much they can send. Your turn around time may be 1 to 3 days depending on how many elites are using this perk at the time. Elites do not get same day service free like those in full suites.

Thank you so much, I really don't use the laundry much, I have only sent a single bag during a cruise before.

Changing from the laundry topic, is room service for lunch available on embarkation day?  We have spa appointments starting at 12:30, so will miss DR as believe that opens at noon.  Wondering if the buffet and International Cafe would be more busy than relaxing at this earlier time, but don’t know when or if room service is available early on embarkation day?

You are correct 5 nights or more for complementary first night meal
